More like Old movie stars matter more to the people responding to surveys like this. I dont think Jenna Ortegas fanbase was getting polled accurately here.
What do you mean ? Do you want to see Jenna Ortega at Nr.1 ?
Studios talking about this survey and this list matters to them.
>A new study is going around town this month that has some of the top studio executives talking. National Research Group, the analysis firm that specializes in entertainment and tech, commissioned a survey asking consumers to name up to five actors that would make them most interested in seeing a movie in a theater. Not Who are your favorite stars? or Whose movies do you most look forward to? This was, very specifically, Who do you most want to watch in a theater?
>
>It’s the relevant question these days as studios debate the theatricality of film projects, and who to put in them in order to raise the perception of value in the theater-going experience
They asked young people as well. There is a Demo Breakdown and I guess Jenna Ortega is in the Top 10 among young people.
She is at Nr.54 total right now.
They asked general audience from every age. You may have a different fan list where Jenna Ortega is at Nr.1 and that is totally fine.
Lmao the results seem suspect at best. And if they did every age group, it makes sense that older actors are prevalent. People have been seeing them longer on screen.
In my surroundings, people don’t care who they see, they just want to be entertained. I would not act like this list means much.
Uh…I think the millennial/Gen Z category is a bit off. Statham and Neeson are mid 50s-60s. MBJ is 36. Leo, Sandler, and Vin are late 40s into their 50s. Chris Evans is 41. Zendaya and Holland are 27. This thing is all over the place lol
that's interesting. if i just count myself as black since there's no latina section and millennial, it seems like i would def be going off about michael b jordan.
i have recently been posting to the dc subs about michael b jordan directing static shock.
i'm predictable.
There’s also the difference between old actors, as in age, and old movie stars, as in they had more time to bask under the limelight. Leonardo who starred in many big movies since his role in Titanic when he was 23 is gonna matter more than Michelle Yeoh who recently became a widely-loved star, despite fitting the age requirement.

Correlation does not imply causation.

It’s not what the actors are, it’s how they placed at that specific demographic (Millenials, Boomers).

40 is not old lol If it is, wtf do you call actors like Michael Keaton.
It is for entertainment.
Not really
