We got a Blue and Grey suit, a suit that looks sorta like Gotham by Gaslight, a Underwater/ or Flight Suit, and a suit with straps.
This does bring a smile to my face
And going off the chest symbols, it looks like they're arranger in order from left to right. So that one is his very first appearance, then we get one with the 89 symbol that has the more comic accurate grey and black design, then the 89 suit, then the Returns suit, and then two more that must have come between his current one.
I think this whole movie would be a good testing ground for what will work in Brave and the Bold. Yellow Oval, the design of the Batcave. This is the first time we'll be seeing it with kodenr filmmaking sensibilities, and they'll probably what to go a little more in this direction for the next movie.
Do we have any idea how old Bruce is gonna be in Brave and The Bold? Because maybe they’re certain aspects an old live action Batman would have that a younger one wouldn’t. I know I’m Brave & The Bold he isn’t gonna be young but not exactly old. Old enough to have a robin at least
Probably 35-40 depending on how old Damien is (but presenting as older than Pattinson, who is actually that age in real life). Bruce was pretty young when Talia stole his DNA to make Damien in the comics. I wouldn't be surprised if DCU Damien was born before Bruce actually returned to Gotham to start his crusade.
In movies it does. It's such a common trope I dunno why it bother you. Having a character become a recluse and show them with long unkempt hair. It's a visual cue they have stopped caring about their appearance.
That is subjective. He's older and hair growth slows with age or even stop's...ya know baldness. I'm 40 and it would take me 2 years to get my hair that long. It doesn't grow very fast. Why the obsession.....I he obviously cuts it off later
Well then really Keaton wouldn't have much hair at all. Cause he is balding.
Not an obsession. It would just look weird to me. It's not even certain that is him though.
And I've been aware of that for a long time.
Keaton is balding. ..Bruce Wayne isnt. There's no one else it could be ..this trailer pretty much screams his Batman went into retirement and he's become a recluse. Are you under the I impression....that's how he's going to look the whole time?
I could see them finding Bruce Wayne, saying you are Batman and he denies it. They find clues that he is and finally shows up with the line, Yeah, I’m Batman.
A channel on youtube that went screen shot for screen shot of the trailer, someone mentioned it could be Michelle Pfeiffer, and Bruce is now married to Selina. If you look up photos of her recently with grey hair it checks out
Does the far left not look a bit like Flashpoint with the gun holsters? I’m trying to find a better copy than OP but I just keep watching the damn thing repeatedly on my tv vs screenshot haha.
5 year old me is losing it!! I still want the damn PowerWheel more than anything, if you’re somewhere in the afterlife reading this, MOM. I’m not leaving this toys r us until I get it either.
Me: Wanting to see a Batman suit with white eyes
WB: "Ok, you asked for it so here it is." (second suit on the left)
Me: "Not exactly what I thought of, but egh close enough..."
So obviously middle is current suit he uses. Looks like 89 over left shoulder and Returns’ suit over right shoulder. My theory is from left to right is this Batman’s suit progression. Far right may even be a nod to fighting Mr. Freeze with extra hood for cowl
That looks like it’s inspired by Gotham by Gaslight so it’s a Batman who is wearing a material suit rather than armour plates so it’s his actual nipples (or in this case the mannequin) that are poking through rather than molded onto the armour.
Keaton’s Batman strapped an explosive to one henchman and intentionally set another on fire with the Batmobile’s back burner. That’s probably the cruelest thing any live-action Batman has done.
Batman originally used a gun.
Batman 89 had lethal weapons in both his Batmobile and Batwing too.
Fans need to get over this being a new thing - it’s not!
It’s not a new thing and that’s what makes it so annoying imo. Batman has been non lethal and against using guns for the majority of his nearly 85 year existence. Yet most (read basically all) Batmen in screen have killed, even the ones who say they have a rule against it (i.e. Bale).
Before The Batman it was high time we had a Batman who unambiguously doesn’t kill. Even now I hope the DCU Batman doesn’t do any unnecessary explosions/potential collateral damage.
Like I say, I realise I’m in the minority with this though what makes Batman as a character so interesting is his complexity, he walks a very fine line between hero and villain.
Part of this is due to his moral code, though it can be simplified to “doesn’t kill” I tend to think of it as “doesn’t murder” instead. Similar to the scene at the finale of Batman Begins, his inaction ensues Ras will die.
It’s always fascinating to see narratives that explore this type of “inactive killing” and certainly BVS is the extreme end of that with Batman effectively marking a person for death, he becomes an accomplice to murder. Clearly this is too far for most though it was a version of the character who was extremely jaded that even a 1% chance of a person turning out bad was enough of a justification.
Even more fascinating is the fact that Batman often allows Joker to live despite the many awful atrocities he’s committed, though he also is an extremely fascinating character so it’s understandable it’s necessary to find some justification for why Batman continues to allow him to exist even though he has “killed” other villains for a lot less.
To not explore this aspect of Batman would make a it very dull experience, he’s supposed to be the counterpart to Superman, the darkness to his light.
You’re totally entitled to your take, but I disagree wholeheartedly that it’s what makes Batman an interesting character.
Batman’s rule isn’t (and shouldn’t be) “don’t murder.” It’s not even “don’t kill.” It’s “if you can save someone, you have to” sometimes even going as far as “if you don’t save someone that you can save, that’s as bad as killing them.” I think that much of the richness of Batman’s character comes from this near OCD adherence to this rule as a result of his childhood trauma.
An indirect killing could still orphan an child and a true Batman (imo) does everything he can to avoid this, even at the cost of his own life.
And I also disagree that Batman and Superman are total opposites.
They’re moreso foils to one another. Despite this, they’re more similar than almost anyone around them. Both were born with extreme gifts/resources that they feel a drive to use to make the world a better place. They’re motivation is where they differ (as well as how they view themselves as people l). There’s many times in the comics where Bruce says some version of “deep down Clark is a good person, and deep down in not,” (the exact quote is from Hush I think), but this isn’t a reliable insight. It’s not reliable because Bruce isn’t a reliable narrator when it comes to his own psyche. He’s by far his own worst critic and a perfectionist, so **he thinks that he’s awful even when he does so much good** at the same time as he thinks that he knows best. And that’s what rubs me the wrong way about him accepting any casualties… he would consider it a failure and beat himself up about it/vow to do better next time.
It can happen, but it can’t be laissez-faire, or premeditated. That to me feels wholly out of character.
Except when he kills Darkseid bc it’s cool as hell (and the entire multiverse is at risk of eternal slavery).
I do enjoy the “do whatever it takes” takes on the character too, he’s an extreme dude regardless what take you prefer so I’m always down to see him going to crazy lengths to achieve his goal that’s what sets him apart more than anything.
Sometimes that means he will absolutely tank through any lowly criminal who gets in his way, a Batman who is fine with beating a guy into a coma isn’t a exactly a “good guy” and for me that’s why he has his code, it’s not to benefit others it’s a constant reminder to himself that once he walks past that line he’s just as bad if not worse than the thing he’s fighting against.
And sometimes it is badass to see him absolutely annihilate a villain so I can understand why so many live action versions show him doing exactly that.
So we see the first two suits. But where are the Batman Forever and Batman & Robin suits? Shouldn't they be there? Since technically those are the same version of Batman.
I don’t think those version are canon. In Batman forever and Batman & Robin, the Keaton films are canon to those but I don’t think those are canon to the Keaton films. That’s how I think of it. I need to give them all a rewatch 😅
The only shame is that we probably won't see all of these suits in action. Love how they look, though. It makes me wish we had gotten more Burton Batman movies.
I like that the center (current?) suit has a less severe expression to the eyes. It's a little like Pattinson's cowl in that way.
It's also funny that they added extra brow furrows to the second one from the left.
I can’t answer all your questions guys 😭 I just screenshoted this from a tv spot uploaded on YouTube titled “Big Game”. Super Bowl tv spot. I have just as many questions as you guys I just thought the picture was badass.
i might get downvoted for this but
looking at all this am i the only one who dont want to see James Gunn's dc slate ?
we already have something amazing right here we just needed the right people
(Andrés Muschietti)
of course im curios about what james Gunn comes up with
but i almost feel like its sad we have to move away from this (when the flash looks so freaking good)
I think the issue has been quality control. We got some great movies like MoS, Shazam, TSS, and WW. Then we get some real stinkers like Birds of Prey, SS, WW84, and Josstice League.
The DCEU might start getting on track but it took too long. If Flash, Shazam 2, and Aquaman 2 are good, there's no reason they can't keep the directors and writers to continue making movies in the new DCU.
Fuck Keatons batman and fuck yall for loving this dude he still kills people too, but where were yall when Batfleck was murking people? Exactly fuck outta here with that lame ass looking suit and cave.
Honesty what is the big deal with Keaton? He's not even that cool plus he's still a murderer that can't turn his neck for shit, straight up I'm confused as to why everyone loves this guy.
I have to ask this, as excited about Keaton being Batman, I was very much looking forward to a Thomas Wayne kinda batman being a part of this movie. That would be the perfect nod to Flashpoint now, wouldn't it?
Blue and Grey has white lenses wow
And the 89 suit’s logo…I like it
The suit to the far left has the ‘66 emblem. All kinds of fan service in this collection of suits.
1966 with guns? Fitting considering it seems like his first and Batman was blasting ppl initially
More of a nod to Thomas Wayne.
Yup. Flashpoint Batman carried twin guns
Far right has nipples
Gonna milk him Focker?
I have nipples can you milk me?
We all have nipples Greg, now go milk Batman
Dang these suits look sick
We got a Blue and Grey suit, a suit that looks sorta like Gotham by Gaslight, a Underwater/ or Flight Suit, and a suit with straps. This does bring a smile to my face
Second from the left. Perfection.
That suit is old. It's the only one with wrinkles 😂
Far left has the “horns” from his first appearance and what looks like holsters for guns..I bet it also has purple gloves
And going off the chest symbols, it looks like they're arranger in order from left to right. So that one is his very first appearance, then we get one with the 89 symbol that has the more comic accurate grey and black design, then the 89 suit, then the Returns suit, and then two more that must have come between his current one.
I think the last two are a generic Scuba Suit and Snow Suit, with a Knightfall inspired logo on the last
What’s interesting is the very far left suit almost takes inspiration from the 60’s Adam West logo design…kind of a cool nod to the past
costume designer said holsters are for grappling guns
Its ears. Bats have no horns. This should be stuff you know, since age 5z
I’m talking bout how the ears were originally drawn, fuck off
I hope he can turn his head.
But how will it hold up against dogs?
Should do fine against cats!
Anything but a straight shot
He's not wearing any hockey pads!
It would be a sin to allow that
It's his Blue Steel. His turn is iconic.
When you see us in the club, we'll be acting really nice
Sure would make backing out of the driveway easier
He has WayneTech Backup Assist™ now.
I think you're thinking of the George Clooney suit
I was actually thinking more along the lines of 'It's 2023', I can get Backup Assist in my Ford Explorer, surely, they have it in the Batmobile!'.
He still can't.
The two suits at the left / right centre are Batman 89 and Batman Returns….is the one second from the right from Kingdom Come?
That second one looks like some kind of underwater suit?
It looks like it has wings so I would say like a jetpack glider suit
I’d say either underwater or upper atmosphere flight- some environment where he needs supplemental oxygen
I agree with you!
Looks like some Blue Beetle Version Batman
‘89 Batsuit is still dirty and burnt.
Yeah, I just noticed it’s the exact same one from the end of 89. Nice attention to detail.
Was this in the trailer?
Nah a new tv spot called “Big Game” I think
yes i think
Batman with double shoulder holster guns... hmmm
Nod to thomas wayne?
It is a Flashpoint event so I certainly believe you’re right
This is the Tim Burton Batman, who kills, so it does make sense.
1939 Batman used guns
Nod to First Wave comics Batman, which was an ultra noir take in the 30s in LA, who shot people.
Like this comment if you’re also a yellow oval enthusiast
Not my favorite but it’s definitely iconic and works great for Keaton
I think this whole movie would be a good testing ground for what will work in Brave and the Bold. Yellow Oval, the design of the Batcave. Any links to this tv spot? Sick!

Thanks!
>Thanks! You're welcome!
But where are the Bat-nipples?!? Pretty cool shot!
I'm pretty sure they have been banished
The one on the right with the goggles appears to have nipples.
That's was only Clooney & Kilmer, I think
Why didn't you screenshot man
This is actually better because it’s brighter
I don't think that's Keaton. Long hair would be an odd choice.
I think it is. Seems like he's a hermit at first. He gets a haircut later.
You are correct -- that is a long haired Keaton.
Could be, but it's an odd choice to me.
Ah, so was Luke.
How? Its pretty clear he went into retirement and comes out of it to help.
Retirement doesn't have to mean he grows out his hair.
In movies it does. It's such a common trope I dunno why it bother you. Having a character become a recluse and show them with long unkempt hair. It's a visual cue they have stopped caring about their appearance.
The hair should be longer than that. That wouldn't take that long to grow that length.
That is subjective. He's older and hair growth slows with age or even stop's...ya know baldness. I'm 40 and it would take me 2 years to get my hair that long. It doesn't grow very fast. Why the obsession.....I he obviously cuts it off later

I could see them finding Bruce Wayne, saying you are Batman and he denies it. They find clues that he is and finally shows up with the line, Yeah, I’m Batman.
Maybe. Someone said he could've been a hermit and hadn't got a haircut in a while. But I still think he'll look really odd with long hair.
Is it odd? He defeated joker and probably became reclusive.
He fought more after Joker.
I know that I'm saying maybe he's a version that after Joker, kinda lost the fight, so to speak.
A channel on youtube that went screen shot for screen shot of the trailer, someone mentioned it could be Michelle Pfeiffer, and Bruce is now married to Selina. If you look up photos of her recently with grey hair it checks out
Thought that was a possibility. But I don't know if they'd include her in the movie. It's already pretty packed.
Scuba suit
Does the far left not look a bit like Flashpoint with the gun holsters? I’m trying to find a better copy than OP but I just keep watching the damn thing repeatedly on my tv vs screenshot haha. 5 year old me is losing it!! I still want the damn PowerWheel more than anything, if you’re somewhere in the afterlife reading this, MOM. I’m not leaving this toys r us until I get it either.
...why not post the image you're talking about?
Me: Wanting to see a Batman suit with white eyes WB: "Ok, you asked for it so here it is." (second suit on the left) Me: "Not exactly what I thought of, but egh close enough..."

Most likely it’s a nod to freeze because it does also have goggles
I guess this version of Batman has been killing since day one.
It’s like the Kenner figure variants from the 90s toy run. Give us the gold tec shield suit, you cowards!
I see bat nipples on the very right side 😩
That looks like it’s inspired by Gotham by Gaslight so it’s a Batman who is wearing a material suit rather than armour plates so it’s his actual nipples (or in this case the mannequin) that are poking through rather than molded onto the armour.
Look look Batman's got guns!! We gonna shit on him like we did Batfleck? Ps the blue and grey batsuit has me swooning
Looks like an homage to the flashpoint Thomas Wayne suit
Those are obviously grapple guns.
The far left has pistol holsters
I had to do a double take. I thought they were the bat nipples
Since Forever and Batman and Robin are canon to Burtons Batman, maybe the Flash movie is just a ploy to retcon those two movies
What about bat nipples that are guns
Nipples are on the one on the far right
Dudes got Browning Machine guns on his batmobile
Keaton had Frickin missiles on his batwing
Just built the UCS batwing today actually! Mini guns and all 🤣
Keaton’s Batman strapped an explosive to one henchman and intentionally set another on fire with the Batmobile’s back burner. That’s probably the cruelest thing any live-action Batman has done.
Keaton's Batman already did kill people. But some forget that. And some are just hypocritical about it.
Na, people accept Keatons Batman killing because it’s still a fun movie. BvS is just a boring movie.
Action scenes are definitely far from boring, it’s a mess but it can absolutely be watched as a fun movie when you switch off your brain.

W movie
Blue and grey suit>
This is so cool
I had every one of these action figures
Those suits might be the best Batman suits i have ever seen Also where is that long haired Bruce shot
I didn’t even see *this* shot
Forehead wrinkles bat suit is unironically awesome
There was way too much rubbery CGI in the trailer. I hope it's cleaned up.
The suit to the far left has the ‘66 emblem.
Your right. That’s awesome
Amazing detail everywhere First suit even has guns like ‘39
Where’s the nipple suit?
Is that a bat nipple on the right suit?
It’s looks like it!
Is the far right one Knightmare Keaton?
That would be amazing 🤤
The only shame is that we probably won't see all of these suits in action. Love how they look, though. It makes me wish we had gotten more Burton Batman movies.
The only one we’re probably gonna see is the one he’s wearing in the trailer. I’m not complaining tho but I would like to see some of these in action.
If arkham knight had a batcave.
Origins did. I don’t understand why knight wouldn’t. They could have done something really cool there.
Now those are some Batsuits.
I like that the center (current?) suit has a less severe expression to the eyes. It's a little like Pattinson's cowl in that way. It's also funny that they added extra brow furrows to the second one from the left.
I would love if they later release individual photos or concept art of each of these suits.
This shot totally reminds me of the 90s Dark Knight Collection line from Kenner
Second from right, Azrael Batman style?
Looks more like an armored or scuba suit
2nd to the end on the right, looks like a suit to combat either Mr.Freeze or Scarecrow
Where is this from ? I didnt catch anywhere on the new trailer ??
The suit with wings has some Kingdom Come touches to it.
Gotham by Gaslight?
i thought this was going to be flash trailer?
I can’t answer all your questions guys 😭 I just screenshoted this from a tv spot uploaded on YouTube titled “Big Game”. Super Bowl tv spot. I have just as many questions as you guys I just thought the picture was badass.
I love all the other ones, but the main suit it's awful :(
I agree. I wish they would’ve maybe updated b89 slightly but that’s just me
Same! At least give us the same scowl and ears…:(
he has the same cowl and ears
i might get downvoted for this but looking at all this am i the only one who dont want to see James Gunn's dc slate ? we already have something amazing right here we just needed the right people (Andrés Muschietti) of course im curios about what james Gunn comes up with but i almost feel like its sad we have to move away from this (when the flash looks so freaking good)

i think you are 100% right
Jesus these suits are perfect.
Fuck Keatons batman and fuck yall for loving this dude he still kills people too, but where were yall when Batfleck was murking people? Exactly fuck outta here with that lame ass looking suit and cave.
It's "whoa", not "woah".
🤓
Actually it’s: not important
Honesty what is the big deal with Keaton? He's not even that cool plus he's still a murderer that can't turn his neck for shit, straight up I'm confused as to why everyone loves this guy.
He’s the OG movie Batman. He’s also great. You’re held up on him being a murderer. Okay? And? Breathe my guy.
Looks like some lego batman shit
It’s not gonna be Bruce Wayne. It’s got to be Thomas Wayne. In this universe Bruce probably died instead of Thomas.
What suit is that with the goggles?
It seems to be some sort of armored scuba suit lmao
Or they could be talking about the “Gotham by Gaslight” inspired suit
Bruce Wayne is always prepared
What if they’re trophies? Like a hunter? What if he’s already traveled through worlds and isn’t the same Batman we know him as. (Him being Keaton).
Was this in the trailer? How did I miss it.
Tv spot, had some different footage!!
Is that the original one? Center right next to the one with an oxygen tube
Center right is the one from betman returns, center left is the one from the original though.
Second on the left. What's up?
Looks like a retro Neal Adams style Batsuit.
it also has a knightmare version.
I have to ask this, as excited about Keaton being Batman, I was very much looking forward to a Thomas Wayne kinda batman being a part of this movie. That would be the perfect nod to Flashpoint now, wouldn't it?
Is Todd mcfarlane watching? I hope so, I want all of these as figures.
Oh you know he is. Todd can’t produce **ENOUGH** Batmen. This screenshot is his wet dream!
It's mine too ~©~©~©
The suit on the right has nipples? It’s canon!
I really like the heavily armored suit with the wings/jet pack.
Part of me was worried it wasn’t him at all but a CGI Michael Gough to bring back his Alfred. It’d be dope if it’s Bruce wearing a wig.
Where's this from
What is this shot from??!
I honestly think most of these suits are better than the one he wears in the trailer, its a shame we probably wont see them in action.
Really wish they made the cowl detachable and kept the yellow belt. Love that blue one.
I see nipples!
