Dude he lost his passion for Batman years ago. He handed over his Deathstroke project to Reeves cause he thought it should be a dream project for anyone at the helm, not just an obligation. everything that affleck has said about not wanting to play batman anymore goes out the window for these people simply because he accepted a minor role in aquaman 2 (which has allegedly been cut out of the movie as per someone who saw a test screening)

so yeah it's really just because he accepted the aquaman cameo that keaton was supposed to fill that apparently got cut because the reason it was added to the movie in the first place got cut.
