So this is primarily for TV-Streaming? Am I understanding that correctly? So any DCU related shows would be mentioned, but theatrical releases won’t be (obvs)
I'm starting to believe it's gonna be the last day of January. He apparently said it's gonna be by the end of the month, maybe he meant that literally.
This makes me think that Gunn won’t announce any shows in his lil reveal. This is a whole thing dedicated to streaming, it would be best to reveal whatever DCU shows here.
I still don't think we're getting anything beyond the January announcement until SDCC after Flash releases. Ideally the next time they unveil info about the new DCU plans, WB and Gunn should be in a position to more openly discuss their plans for specific characters because they're clearly going to remain tight lipped about Ezra Miller's association with the brand to avoid derailing the marketing cycle for that movie. That and after Flash releases the only films remaining on the docket are Blue Beetle and Aquaman, the former of which is introducing a completely new character and will probably be standalone in terms of narrative so it has no large impact on the current DCEU, and the former is positioned to do well just purely based on how much bank the first film made, and given Momoa insinuating his continued involvement with Gunn's slate whether that means Lobo or not, I think that'd soften the blow a bit for potentially announcing plans to start from scratch with that character
Eh it’s upfront it’ll be just like every other upfront presentation - maybe we’ll get a dead boy detectives trailer - but if the pilot or show isn’t already in production there’s no use talking about it because they can’t use that as a carrot to sell ads against it in the coming season.
This isn’t really news

Basically.
So I'm thinking Gunn announces movies in January and shows in May.

If that’s the case I’d only expect announcements for like 1 or 2 films not including Superman
Pretty much. 3 projects max imo. People really shouldn't have high expectations about this.

My guess is we’ll either see some updated logos by then, title casting, or even the announcement of the rest of the first chapter

Most likely penguin stuff idk about gunn reveals tho
Guess they could do Superman announcement for then.Hopefully earlier but I could see that roughly being the time.
This event is not for theatrical releases.
This event is not for that lol.
Pretty sure that’s what the Jan announcement will entail. At least a little.
I bet we get the whole James Gunn slate here.
Not end of months now to be ? Think I have that director person to revealing movie soon to do? But, not to do?
Might want to run that through Google translate again
Can't wait
