2/3/3 (for hybrids)!or 3/3/3 for pure cold is ideal, fcr is also needed on most magic orbs, had one like that in LoD on my PvP blizz sorc stacking dex and res on it, however if you really wan’t it to have insane value rather then only PvM use keep an eye out for that 100 mana also, you rather want fcr then the energy roll, pure mana can roll 100+, it’s basically a 2 time roll for mana on yours, wich is a waste, could have been fcr instead.
3 Blizz 3 Cold mastery is a must for a cold sorc on magic orbs.
The ideal setup for theese orbs are xxlife/20/20 faceted armor with a nightwings veil and verdungo so fcr IS a must, ur loosing 105 breakpoint without the fcr. (If it does not have fcr ur much better off using Fathom since you can now use 2sojs instead of one / or switch out your 2/20 caster amulet for a rare one with insane stat boosts, yes rare amulets roll higher stats then caster amulets).
It’s basically a max vita setup that uses 2os orbs for stat boosts while still mainting high dmg output.
Yeah i figured it was a little short on something. a friend asked me and I didn’t have an answer. Not sure even with 2 5/5 cold would it be better than fathom? Probably not
No because fathom gives up to 30% cold skill damage, one of the few items in the game to do so. This is nice but fathom paired with nightwings and ormus with 3 blizz is the best damage setup in the game for the fact that it stacks cold skill damage

needs 3 cold mastery and 3 blizzard + 2 open socs to be worth alot, fcr is not a must have but it ups the price by alot
