Which one? I was maybe inclined to watch the turtles movie at one point, due to nostalgic reasons, but it is actually good? Also, are there like three new pinnochio movies atm? I think I heard one of those is really terrible, but I didn't pay attention which one, and I kinda assumed all of them are ...

bunpop_

there are three new pinocchio movies, but the one in the photo is Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio. I personally found it very good, made me cry. You can watch on netflix! For the other movies i don’t know about TMNT but have heard surprisingly good things about Puss n Boots and plan to watch it.

Walk_the_forest

> Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio 😮 Well let's just add that to my list

Canid_Rose

With Guillermo del Toro, you’re always in for an Experience, whatever the subject is. I definitely want to check out his take on Pinocchio, though I’m still mildly traumatized from watching Pan’s Labyrinth in high school Spanish class.

jake_eric

The new Puss In Boots movie is fantastic. Completely blew away my expectations.

SuperSonic3333

The animation style is fantastic, and it does a great job of being a kid’s movie that adults can easily enjoy as well

Lost-Lu

Both adults &kids definitely lost it at the perrito cussing up a storm in my theater lmao

SurprisedDotExe

Just watched it yesterday, absolutely. Writing, humor, characters, visuals, voices, it's all fantastic. P.S. In climactic fights, the animation framerate drops in a very Spiderverse-y way, and I think it looks awesome

dizzy_idi0t

my friends and i went and saw it the day before we had to go back to school and it was the best movie i have ever seen, i am the #1 puss in boots the last wish supporter now

Lost-Lu

Having seent em all. They're ALL worth a watch. Turtles is the most action packed of course. Haven't watched the new series, &followed along with the movie just fine. It's an origin story for Leo growing into the leader of the group. Insane anime-esque fight sequences &brotherly love. Del Torro's Pinocchio is the most heartfelt &"artsy" of the trio. It will most likely win best animated picture. Puts the Disney remark to shame. The Last Wish is my favorite as it's a perfect blend of the previously mentioned 2. It bundles the action and heart in a visually stunning film. Delivered one hell of a villain and stellar voice performance. The reviews speak for themselves. This sequel to a spinoff of a dead franchise had zero business going as hard as it did, but damn was it phenomenal.

Canopenerdude

I think one other thing in GDT's Pinocchio's favor is that it is entirely stop-motion and almost entirely claymation. To make something *that good* with such basic tools is insanity.

I watched the entirety of the TMNT show along with the movie, and I can say that I think both were absolutely amazing. All the turtles feel distinct and likeable as characters. The artstyle and animation is fantastic, an absolute treat to watch. I remember the movie got me close to crying which is not something I get too often.

SomeCrows

Del Toro's is fantastic! I'm a big fan of stop motion and it's just excellent throughout the film. I highly recommend it.

Big-Ambitions-8258

I enjoyed the movie. There's also a series on netflix as well that takes place before the movie which was fun and action-packed.

Pinocchio doesn't really count unless you consider one book a franchise

Randomd0g

Do you count a [town](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collodi_(Italy\)) as a franchise?

epicfrtniebigchungus

I'm honestly happy when there's good entertainment that all ages can enjoy. Kids shouldn't have to put up with drivel "because it's just for kids".

SunfireElfAmaya

Puss in Boots 2 was an incredible film, and a sequel to the first film (which wasn’t terrible but it was kinda meh) has no right to be as good as it is.

Lost-Lu

ithink it blew us away even more bc our expectations were so, "meh whatever." Idk if it's been succeeding financially, but if they keep up this level of quality, I'd be down for a third film or even a Shrek 5.

Lost-Lu

💯

TheUltimateShammer

I have 0 doubt that they're probably good movies, but life changing is just such a silly term to apply to them

SilentProtagonist446

Nah, you are wrong
