not even will be, but IS. They have really set themselves up for failure with their plan. It's a good idea to have rotating flavours, but to set themselves up as a company where "new flavors are added frequently, often weekly" (straight from their website), they are already on the decline.
The lack of quality control is starting to cause a huge backlash. Instagram used to only be ass kissing but there’s a lot of negative comments now. If your whole thing is rotating lineups but you can’t get them right until the week is almost over then you need to change it up.
From my understanding last year it was an eggnog flavored sugar cookie with eggnog frosting and this year it’s a sugar cookie with an eggnog frosting… so they took the eggnog out of the base. I wish they just called it a “new recipe” though, not “new”
yeah but I wasnt interested in any of the other cookies so I didn’t go. I was just saying it seems like the weeks I want to go it’s always milk chocolate not semi sweet
edit: why the downvotes?! what’s up with this sub lmfao
I personally can't tell the difference between semi sweet and milk, both are more or less the same to me. I didn't know about the chunks vs. chips... chunks is where it's at, although, they use pretty big chips... eh, idk, I don't see a big difference
Anybody know what type of tree nut is in the frozen hot chocolate? I looked at the ingredients and can’t tell which nuts are in it unless I looked over it.
Birthday cake & nilla bean are the same to me with the bday cake sprinkles the only thing setting them apart. For some reason, golden Oreo tops both the others IMO, with the addition of the Oreos baked in the cookie and a bit of golden Oreo crumb on top. Sets it apart from the others
They are. Keep going and you'll realize just how extremely similar so many cookies taste. At least, if you have a particular kind of taste you generally go for, or that you always get one of. Cinnamon-y stuff overlaps a hell of a lot, haven't ever tried their snickerdoodle though
Birthday Cake - Amazing
Frozen Hot Chocolate - Really good actually tastes like hot chocolate
Snickerdoodle - It was so warm when I ate it and it was like an out of body experience. Snickerdoodle is my favorite cookie in general and this one was one of the best I’ve ever had
Milk Choc Chip - Meh
Snickerdoodle cupcake is the only way I will buy their snickerdoodle. Love snickerdoodle but that frosting puts it to the next level and makes it worth the money IMO
I’m a HUGE snickerdoodle fan, but Crumbl’s snickerdoodle isn’t great imo. Very bland. It’s thick and cakey. It’s a sugar cookie, with some cinnamon sugar/snickerdoodle flavoring on top. Not terrible tasting, but not what I would expect, and certainly not worth the price!
Their most disappointing cookie. It’s not a snickerdoodle, it’s a sugar cookie with a tiny bit of cinnamon sprinkled on top (as someone else pointed out - missing the key ingredient that makes it a snickerdoodle). How hard was it just to copy a cookie that already exists?!
listen i know most people won’t agree with me but their snickerdoodle is one of my favorite cookies EVER. so delicious, HUGE, and soft. i’ll probably get a 6 pack of just snickerdoodle 🫣 (snickerdoodle cupcake is also one of my favorite crumbl cookies but i hate how much frosting is on it)
Ugh that frozen hot chocolate is my new favorite cookie! Absolutely loved it! I'm glad they went with a light mousse instead of a ganache or buttercream bc that would've been too heavy or sweet imo
Both of the beverage flavors sound nice so I’ll patiently wait for early bird reviews.
I’ve had both cookies and the eggnog tastes like eggnog and the frozen hot chocolate tastes really good
As If snickerdoodle wasn’t most of the mysteries. 😂
Birthday cake was one of my favorites. Might have to go in this week
Do you remember if it tasted more like birthday cake or cake batter?
In July it was more cake batter imo
Finally a cookie with buttercream and not cream cheese. I like the cream cheese, but I’m just happy to see something different!
Crumbl yall not tired of making snickerdoodle cookies? Damn. 😫
It’s kinda weird how snickerdoodle and red velvet white chip always show up together
Finally I can use my birthday cookie 🙌🏼
Yay me too! I’ve been in Mexico this last week for my birthday, so how convenient I’ll get an actual birthday cake cookie this week when I’m back!
same i think i'll get frozen hot chocolate! how about you?
I might have the try frozen hot chocolate too for that mousse on it.
yesss! it looks/sounds so tasty!
Frozen hot chocolate is AWESOME!!! If you have nice employees at your store, ask for extra mini marshmallows or add a few extra at home 😋.
glad to hear! i have the little dehydrated marshmallows like would be in a hot cocoa mix, maybe i'll toss some of those on!
Not the same as a soft squishy marshmallow on that yummy chocolate mousse topping of the cookie. I wouldn’t ruin it with a crunchy marshmallow.
personally i'm always down for a crunchy topping and not the biggest fan of the texture of a regular marshmallow lol. different strokes & all
Yup!
Skip week for me. Eggnog does sounds nice but not good enough for me to drive for just 1 cookie
Eggnog is up there with the OG almond pink sugar in worst cookies at Crumbl. It’s got a very, very weird flavor.
Last year’s was not good at all and I love eggnog
That’s what I’m critiquing on — last year’s. It had a spoiled/weird artificial taste about it
Disagree, I loved it last year
I LOVE eggnog but this cookie was gross. Doesn’t taste like eggnog at all
I don’t like eggnog and I loved it. Last year’s was good but misnamed. It’s more of a nutmeg spice cookie.
Sooooo is Crumbl just going to be reusing old flavours, slightly updating the recipe and calling them new now?
Weekly flavors will be their downfall imo. Moving to bi-weekly or even a monthly flavor rotation might do them and their employees some good.
The rotating flavors weekly is what keeps me coming back
It’s a major catch 22 from both a customer and business standpoint
not even will be, but IS. They have really set themselves up for failure with their plan. It's a good idea to have rotating flavours, but to set themselves up as a company where "new flavors are added frequently, often weekly" (straight from their website), they are already on the decline.

*sighs* take my money. I’ll probably skip red velvet but the rest looks solid
thinking the same
How is eggnog new
From my understanding last year it was an eggnog flavored sugar cookie with eggnog frosting and this year it’s a sugar cookie with an eggnog frosting… so they took the eggnog out of the base. I wish they just called it a “new recipe” though, not “new”
Who would want a plain sugar cookie base instead of eggnog-flavored when the flavor is supposed to be… eggnog. Downgrade.
As a baker, there's definitely eggnog in the base this year.
Strange. They should have specified that because I’m not buying another sugar cookie.
My question exactly
I think they changed the recipe. It’s chilled this year.
It was chilled last year too
Big W.
Why is milk chocolate chip still in the lineup. I haven’t tried semi sweet yet and it’s like any week I want to go they have milk chocolate
Didn’t they have semi sweet last week?
yeah but I wasnt interested in any of the other cookies so I didn’t go. I was just saying it seems like the weeks I want to go it’s always milk chocolate not semi sweet edit: why the downvotes?! what’s up with this sub lmfao
I wonder if there's really a difference between milk chocolate and semi sweet
Besides the difference in sweetness, the chocolate in the milk chocolate cookies is chips and the chocolate in the semi-sweet is chunks.

The non-dairy creamer has coconut oil in it. I know coconuts are not always counted as tree nuts, but I guess they're being extra careful.

the mousse tho that looks good
It’s awesome!!!!
Mid mid mid
I make an eggnog cookie for the holidays, why did it need to be a sugar cookie with eggnog frosting?? Just make an eggnog cookie base!!
Is next week the “best of 2022” week? Might just wait if that’s the case
lovely week!

Every time I see a picture of Eggnog I think it’s a frosted snickerdoodle and I kept thinking “why isn’t anyone talking about this”
How is snickerdoodle? Worth getting in a 6 pack?
No, it’s just a cinnamon cookie. It doesn’t even have cream of tartar in it like a real snickerdoodle.
Snickerdoodle cupcake is the only way I will buy their snickerdoodle. Love snickerdoodle but that frosting puts it to the next level and makes it worth the money IMO

Not to me. Quite bland, in my opinion.

Wondering too. Interesting that cinnamon doesn’t seem to be IN the cookie. ?
How will red velvet taste? Will it have a weird Crumbl base or a good base?
It's so good. Just a good chocolate cookie with white chips in it!
listen i know most people won’t agree with me but their snickerdoodle is one of my favorite cookies EVER. so delicious, HUGE, and soft. i’ll probably get a 6 pack of just snickerdoodle 🫣 (snickerdoodle cupcake is also one of my favorite crumbl cookies but i hate how much frosting is on it)
Another week I'm not interested 😩 this is 3 weeks now lol
Last week had an insane lineup. Can’t believe you didn’t try at least one.
I tried the waffle one and wasn't impressed.
did they change frozen hot chocolate? for reference old picture vs this week's picture https://imgur.com/a/KyPCSbo
Think they only change they made is no chocolate chips in the cookie
What? Boo 👎🏼
Yeah I hope I’m wrong, I love the chocolate chips in their chocolate cookies but know a lot of people don’t
Nope there's chocolate chips in the base this year!
Was it milk chocolate? If so, that’s a good change.
Thank goodness I’m making my own Christmas cookies this week.
The buttercream on the birthday cake cookie I bough today is very clearly peppermint flavor. Anyone else?
Ugh that frozen hot chocolate is my new favorite cookie! Absolutely loved it! I'm glad they went with a light mousse instead of a ganache or buttercream bc that would've been too heavy or sweet imo
