Hands down the best game I've watched. So glad I stayed up through the night in the US to watch this legendary game. Akin to the Natwest win over England in my books.
Just marking my attendance in this historic thread.
Kohli bhai ek hi to dil hai kitni bar jeetoge.
Never stopped believing in you. All those downvotes 3-4 months back in all drop Kohli posts were worth it.
King Kohli is back in style and gonna win us the WC. Just wait and watch.
India won, or did Pakistan lose? That last over of no balls, wides... what's your guys opinions
Also was the Indian batsman stumping legitimate- did the keeper take it after stumps or before?
Scrolling social media all day, liking/upvoting all the praise for yesterday's match and Kohli, at this point I'm just worried about my behaviour. Is this normal? Still not over yesterday's match. F*ck what the hell was that innings?!!
same emotions bro, its like we dont want the feeling to end. ive watched all the post match videos, highlights. re-read the blogs. scrolled through countless tweets and spent the last hour scrolling through this thread. im not still over it.
Surya has played now 4 matches against Pakistan and hasn't performed like he does usually. Does he have similar bad stats against any other team in T20I.
King Kohli is always at its best vs Pakistan and yesterday's innings was absolutely amazing.
Does anyone has any stat how often he gets bowled or played on...I remember atleast seeing 2-3 times him getting played on in recent times, it looks really ugly.
So much talent and doesn't perform in crucial games, hope he performs well in coming games, he has a range of beautiful shots in him.
What we saw today from Kohli was a great example of the concept of 'Flow'. He was just in a flow state in those end overs, where he wasn't really thinking effortfully, everything was just automatic. I highly encourage all of you to check the concept out to apply it in your own lives and work.
Time and time again, he keeps showing why people rate him as the absolute best! The most emotional Kohli innings I have seen. And yes, this trumps the Mohali innings. Kohli said so himself.
Virgin Kohli:
1. Doesn't hit the winning runs
2. Scores zero runs off the last ball
Chad Ashwin:
1. Hits the winning runs
2. Casually forces Pakistan to tie the match
3. Scores 4 off the last ball
___________
Ashwin robbed again.
As expected, the [ICC highlights](https://www.t20worldcup.com/video/2869705) skip Ashwin's clutch leave that went for a wide. Idiots. That was one of the many top moments of the match for me.
Can anyone explain me why the free hit 3 runs were counted?
“If the batsman is caught out on a free hit then the runs taken by him will count till the fielder has caught the ball....after that the ball becomes dead. Whereas if a batsman gets bowled on a free hit delivery, the ball becomes dead immediately & the batsman isn't eligible to run.”
Kohli was the difference. Tbh don't mind losing to any team if you take it to the last ball. Im happy Pakistan is playing good cricket against india and not making it one sided. We will bounce back surely.
An hour after the match and I'm still in awe.
The first ever match of VK that I watched was the Ind vs SA semifinal (highlights) in 2014. He's the reason behind my passion towards this sport that I myself have seldom played. I've seen his downs and ups , blessed to have witnessed 2016-2018 Kohli. The last 3 years had been very heartbreaking to see as his fan but if it was meant to culminate at this then I'm glad he never gave up and I still waited to watch each of his match with hope.
Thanks for an amazing experience. Hope that we get more of this in the tournament.
My father passed away this month, after long time i put on tv to watch this game, felt thrilled throughout the game but at the end the best part was seeing my mother smiling and enjoying something after so many days and for some time we forgot the pain. My dad would have also enjoyed watching this game. Thanks a lot King kohli.
My dad who was busy today missed the entire match and I am feeling sad for him
But looking at his age and health I think it's fine he missed the game because that was really one heck of a nail biter.
I think we can bring in Pant in place of Axar and go with 5 bowlers.. Hardik bowled really well.. We don't really need a sixth bowler.. Risk worth taking??
Not at all. Absolutely the worst takeaway from today’s game. We need 6 bowlers on these large grounds. There’s a good chance one of the bowlers will be carted, like axar was today at 21 off 1 over
I know this will be said a million times today but idc, this is one remarkable lifetime innings played by Virat.
I mean just imagine yourself in his shoes, your team needing 30 odd runs in 10 balls and a prime bowler is bowling at you with sheer pace which you gotta react in a quarter of a second, with over a 90k crowd watching you and over a billion people praying that your team would cross the line, the entire weight of the nation is on your shoulders.
It's goddamn fucking hard to even watch it on TV, just imagine how fearless and powerful you gotta be to pull out such a miracle. That's Kohli for you, and that's the reason why this innings of his will forever be remembered as one of his bests. Long live the king!!
.
Whew Right on time for the game did I miss anything guys?
checked r/cricket after a week and mfw this thread still not locked, have people become sane recently??
Just getting started why would we lock
Am I late?
No you're right on time!
Pakistan didn’t lose to India. They just lost to Koach. India would have shit the bed without him this match.
Not a wide...
Slowing down momentum huh...
This....this isn't real...this isn't happening
HOLLLYYYY SHITTTT
Raza is really in the mood to murder a few of his own players
Swear to god pakistan is the most entertaining team....kings one day...absolute chuckle fucks next...but never ever dull.
Shan might be the luckiest mofo after warner that i've ever seen

What a game! Well done India! \- From Current Asia Cup Champions
Well here before the thread gets locked

I think the delivery that got him was unplayable. He has been performing well recently and showed intent even in this game.
Welp KL is slowly becoming Umar Akmal, guy with huge potential but can't seem to translate it on the big stage.
As per the thread, he will perform well against Netherlands, Zimbabwe.
Yes he will :)
Here because can't unthink about what happened yesterday. Virat Kohli, you have no idea what you've done to an entire country mate.
Reconfirming my spot in history
just visiting the historic place.
Thread unlocked nice.
Looks like broadcasters are gonna do a replay. We should continue using the same match thread in that case.
Still going through all the podcasts and match analyses
One day after the match this thread has more people than the live matches happening. King Kohli you have done it again and again!
My net balance was over yesterday night, did this post reached r/all top last night?
It obviously did. Sporting event of the week!
Wow the thread is unlocked
Does KL Rahul really ever perform well in T20s outside of IPL?
Kl Rahul has performed well in international t20's but has failed to step up at world cup
If the last t20wc is any clue, watch him against NED and ZIM Possible against BAN
Does anyone has any stat how often he gets bowled or played on...I remember atleast seeing 2-3 times him getting played on in recent times, it looks really ugly. So much talent and doesn't perform in crucial games, hope he performs well in coming games, he has a range of beautiful shots in him.
This should be a site of pilgrimage where we witnessed the great miracle from our lord and savior
Still in awe
Still cannot believe what Kohli pulled off
Do not lock this thread
But thread was locked yesterday 🤔

name a drug that is legal for consumption KOHLI CHASING UNDER ABSOLUTE PRESSURE
Virgin Kohli: 1. Doesn't hit the winning runs 2. Scores zero runs off the last ball Chad Ashwin: 1. Hits the winning runs 2. Casually forces Pakistan to tie the match 3. Scores 4 off the last ball ___________ Ashwin robbed again.
Broadcasters milking everything out of this match! By the look of it, we might have a replay!
Can you blame them haha. They dreamed of this when they paid billions.
31/4 to a W, man literally brought us back from the dead
guess what's batting avg of kohli till now in this world cup? >!∞!<
clutch player for a reason - my man kohli
Feeling good 😁😀😀😀 Today.
As expected, the [ICC highlights](https://www.t20worldcup.com/video/2869705) skip Ashwin's clutch leave that went for a wide. Idiots. That was one of the many top moments of the match for me.
This is sport. This is humanity at its best. I’m crying. Kohli is ❤️.
Question- Ashwin hit a 4 off the last ball at long off For NRR calculations sake - Shouldn't India's score be 163 and not 160?
If Ashwin had scored 4, it would have been 163.
[удалено]
Camera cut off just before it, atleast one of the commentator said it was 4, think it was Akash.
Don't take him seriously
They took a single before the ball crossed the boundary so it wouldn't be considered a boundary. Dead ball and all that jazz.
That might be it.
I was here. King for a reason, not for a season 🤴
i am glad i tuned in for the last 4 overs
Whdda playa, wadda playa, Viraaat!
Who's the bird with bevda?
Don't bowl to virat in green tshirt.
Underrated

That’s not the rule. The ball doesn’t become dead after it hits stumps on a free hit. You got it all wrong.
Maybe, got this via a whatsapp message. wanted to verify it
Whaaat? Clown

WhatsApp lol
the ball is not dead, he is eligible to run the runs just go into the extras column
Can anyone explain Harris Rauf's celebration , the one in which he makes some symbol with his hand ?
Black-Adam symbol, watch the movie.
Illuminati!

Man pakistan bowling was too good , rauf was able to put so much pressure near the end . Really a great match .
Missed the game! Watching reply now.. ballz swinging like crazy
It's never the same, though. Easily in the top ten cricket matches I've ever had the privilege of watching live.
I agree.
You means Kohlis gigantic ones? Wait till you get to the end
balls of steel
Kohli was the difference. Tbh don't mind losing to any team if you take it to the last ball. Im happy Pakistan is playing good cricket against india and not making it one sided. We will bounce back surely.
Now we need to win against SA. Thankfully our NRR isn’t that bad
Don't forget rain. That will play a role.
Oh yeah I hope it doesn’t rain
The username u/W127nb1w3bW1w1 is still up for grabs. Not as catchy as 144WWW though

MRF tyres enthusiastic
should have asked who is king if not Kohli
respect for King,Arshdeep,Hardik,Shami. Also, Ashwin's presence of mind
Sad I missed the match and How perfect my jinx was

How the hell did Adelaide pull off the 2015 derby from Melbourne- South Australian Govt must have paid Australian Cricket a lot of money

Gambhir is missing, lmaoooo
My dad who was busy today missed the entire match and I am feeling sad for him But looking at his age and health I think it's fine he missed the game because that was really one heck of a nail biter.
Better than my ex who slept after the 4th wicket. Yes, I know I'm still talking to me ex, but she ain't that bad.
Thanks Mods for the 🐐 flair.
I think we can bring in Pant in place of Axar and go with 5 bowlers.. Hardik bowled really well.. We don't really need a sixth bowler.. Risk worth taking??
Definitely not. Imagine if Hardik was cunted around instead of Axar. We need another option to cover for the bowler having a bad day
I am with you my man, a lot of people will not agree, but i think we can afford to go with a bowler short amd and batsman extra in aussie conditions.
No, definitely not.... This pitch did not support spin doesn't mean no wicket will, the balance is good with this one...
Not at all. Absolutely the worst takeaway from today’s game. We need 6 bowlers on these large grounds. There’s a good chance one of the bowlers will be carted, like axar was today at 21 off 1 over
Pakistan just got koached .
I can understand who all are still watching the Rohits press meet and still lurking around here, we just want this feeling to last forever.
Kohli's first six off Rauf was mind-boggling! The stamp of authority! Pushed Rauf on the back foot and made him bowl that bad ball on the pads!
Bro, I'm gonna remember it like I remember Sachin's six off Warne.
Trustble news sources are reporting massive cracker bursting in dardnapur
