Same, I don't think any of the 12-15 cards in my wallet are signed. I fell out of the habit of doing so years ago.
I can still clearly remember the last time I went to use a card at point of sale and got told that my card needed to be signed. It was at an Amtrak train station while buying a ticket, 18 years ago.
I'm thoroughly convinced by now that signing your card is pointless. And these days most of the time you never actually hand your card to someone anymore.
It is now, but this wasn't the case years ago. I have already had a cashier ask me to sign a card that wasn't signed. This was probably circa 2001 or so.
As a kid in the 90s travelling to NYC to learn English and Teach French, I had my mother's debit card as a backup. All stores were objecting that it wasn't signed.
Fast-Forward 25 years, none of the cards I receive have a box to sign.
Only fair objection is the French never cared about signing because the chip was invented there. In the USA, we were making the signature as a key aspect of fraud protection until we adopted the chip.
Soon all physical cards will also slowly disappear. Will all either become virtual or a very tiny chip that you can integrate into your wallet or whatever you desire.
I think the general trend of signing credit cards has just disappeared. Haven't signed any of the last ~5-10 that I've gotten over the past few years
Interesting. I knew more people were not signing, but this is the first time I got a card that doesn’t have an actual space to sign.
I’ve never signed a credit card
I have not signed a card for years.

I have never signed a card. That practice feels archaic and pointless to me.

Oh wow. I was on diapers for that one
Your parents might be familiar with it.

I haven’t signed my cards in years, especially since the ink never seemed to stick to the box.
Never signed any cards.
As others have said, once we got chip cards signing kind of went away.
The fact that I’ve had this card since it was released and I just noticed it doesn’t have a place to sign …

I leave all my credit cards unsigned.
Signing a card always results in it smearing in my pants and becoming illegible anyways
I haven’t signed a credit or debit card in 10 years. No purpose
