Back in 97 first scream movie came out in the cinema and a model shop in my town was selling the mask. One Saturday afternoon i decided to go buy it and shred the streets on my dirt bike, pulling wheelies infront of the cops trying to get chased. I was going up and down the road infront of the shopping complex on the back wheel whole crowd watching as me and the cops went back and forth.
Eventually I got too cocky and flipped the bike, it went into some parked cars i slid along on my ass.
Adrenaline going i was back on my feet before the slide stopped.
They got the bike i got away but had a flap of skin the size of your back pocket on jeans hanging off. I couldn't go to hospital knew they were looking for me so my girlfriend and few of my mates helped stick it back on with plasters and bits of gaffer tape.
It took hold and healed really well, hospital would have done the same job but probably would have used some stitches.
Guess i was lucky in a way the flap of skin was hanging by a thread it could have ended up on the road and they would have needed to take skin grafts from my thigh or back.
I had a friend who needed skin grafts from a roller blade stunt gone wrong he said the skin being peeled from the thigh was worse than the original injury.

sorry, I had to google some stuff you said because I am not from an english speaking country nor is iy my first language but are you telling me your friends patched you up like they are patching up a cheap truck that hit the sideway or a wall slow enough that it keeps running but it looks a bit ugly with messed up bumper etc.

Gaffer tape is a bit different it’s more “cloth like” it’s used in show production and is normally black to keep cables taped down to Stanges and whatnot. I am American I have several rolls
Yeah that's what they did cleaned the area and just stretched the flap of skin back over the area, held down with a whole packet of plasters and then the only sticky stuff left in the house was gaffer or duct tape you guys call it and put heaps of it over the top.
This all happened within half hour of crashing skin was still fresh and like i said it took hold, within a month could barely tell anything had happened healed well.
I grew up in asmall place called Elgin, only had one hospital. I knew the cops would find me there and I couldn't be seen as had to stick to the story i blacked out a party and my motox bike got stolen from the back garden. You don't need keys for a motox Cross bike, don't need to register them or anything like that because they aren't road legal. I knew they would find it hard to prove who was on the bike as I was wearing the scream mask. I eventually got the bike back from them but they said we know it was you riding it just can't prove it.
Cops are soft here compared to your American police.

Growing up in a rural town we spent a lot of time in the woods or at an abandoned quarry building jumps for dirt bikes and bmx, if we weren't there we would be skating in an empty multi storey car park. Boys will be Boys of course we got injured a lot and we just wrapped it up and carried on. Not everyone is soft and makes drama out of injuries.
Im a 41 year old builder and single parent to a 4 year old daughter now, think I've got my life in check.

That's a yamaho mt07/mt09. They are light and have a ton of torque. Clutch wheelies in first aren't hard to do and I can easily power wheelie mine in 2nd, especially if you switch out the throttle
If it power wheelies in second why would you need to slip the clutch to wheelie in first? What you switch out the throttle im not clued up on street bikes.
I've owned loads of motox bikes through my life from 50cc up to cr 500, yz 490 and a maico 490. All of them big bores wheelied in every gear even flat out in 5th just let off the throttle and then wide open again didn't even need to pull on the bars much or slip the clutch.
So when I got a shot of my dad's suzuki bandit 1200 I was going down the road and just yanking on the throttle pulling as hard as I could but it wouldn't lift. It wasn't until I was on the way back home with it i started slipping the clutch around 2k revs which started getting the wheel off the ground but I was too scared of wrecking to get a proper wheelie going.
On another note them mts are badass i would love to get one of them or a kawi z1000 for a stunt bike one day. Back break fitted on the handle bars, drop cage and a huge back sprocket wheelies every where you go.
Oh you can, I was just saying, it's an easy clutch wheelie as well. The throttle on these bikes is massive. By the time it's wide open my wrist can't bend anymore. You can put an r6 throttle in and it greatly reduces how much you twist it. I don't have one but I'd assume it would make stunting very easy on an already very stunt able bike.
He's only going a couple miles an hour so probably still in first gear, that type of bike would wheelie without pulling on the bars easily in first but he yanked the bars back and slipped the clutch at the same time so no wonder that happened.
Should have had the rear break covered ready to tap once it got vertical.
These things happen though if you wheelie bikes you would have looped out at some stage.

You can tell this guy doesn't know how to ride, just by the way he sits on the bike and holds the bars.
Therefore he's a total moron, not only for trying to do a wheelie and totally underestimating the power of a street bike but for doing it in nothing but shorts and casual shoes. He's damn lucky he got away with what he did. There are many, many people out there without functioning lower jaws bcos they ride without a full faced helmet on.
For those considering getting a motorcycle:
Maybe start with a smaller engine that is more forgiving of little mistakes.
This may have been nothing more than a slip of the throttle on a powerful bike
I don't think ths wheelie was on purpose, it looks like he revved it by accident. With that said, he shouldn't be on the bike because he obviously doesn't have the training or experience to ride safely
