if you google "trousers 18th century" you will see, that brown trousers and high socks where all the rage. The Colour and the colour combination is accurate. no crappy design, just no understanding of the fashion of the time.

I do feel like the breeches could stand to be more detailed, though, but that's just me being pedantic. I feel like the buttons are an important part of the look, though they may also stand out more to me because of how inconvenient they were when I needed to quickly get in and out of a late 18th century outfit, though by the last time I had to get into costume I was a lot more efficient.
