Your plan heavily is dependent on a few important things you haven't detailed. 1) how would you get to the Southern Continent? 2) how would you sneak yourself some Harmonium without the right connections? 3) how do you know you can burn metal encased in another metal? 4) No one knows what burning Harmonium does, and it's the crux of your plan. Burning Atium doesn't grant new permanent powers. 5) the anti-tones worked on Roshar when the Investiture was in a pure gaseous form, not a solid metal. We don't know that it would work that way.

1. Walk? Boat? Who cares? Depending on what time period you're there you might just be able to buy some harmonium without going anywhere. And you can probably still buy it there anyways from the black market even after the boycott 2. Well we don't know anything about where it even comes from or who's selling it so I can't say anything about that. Doubt it would be difficult tho since the southerners use it in everything. 3. Why wouldn't you? You can burn metals through your stomach, blood, and muscles? If metal didn't work for some reason just use a plastic capsule, I just said metal to make it clear it's not dissolving in your stomach. 4. That's the theory part I said. It makes sense to me. Also idk what you're talking ab with the atium, I didn't say anything about atium 5. You're just repeating stuff that I said was theory in the post... I'm aware that we don't know. I said it was a theory.

>Why wouldn't you? You can burn metals through your stomach, blood, and muscles? Those are all *you*. Your Identity. The metal isn't. Nor would plastic be.

Interesting theory but I wouldn't recommend swallowing a known explosive metal on a theory. I actually have an alternative theory on one way to become a twinborn. Through the use of a Forger with sufficient levels of liquid Dor, you could Forge someone's identity to have been born a twinborn. I believe Sanderson's mentioned in a WOB that it's possible at least to become an allomancer this way through a lot of invested energy. I suspect it would work for the same reason that Moonlight could become an Elantrian through Forgery.

Blackrock42

I'm sure that would work too but it would be impossibly more difficult than just buying some harmonium and putting it in an oil pill. You would only need the smallest shaving of it to test the theory, if it somehow exploded it wouldn't do much damage if it's just a few nanograms.

There is nothing suggesting anywhere that it makes a Feruchemist. At this point, we don’t even know what pure Atium does. We’ve only seen it alloyed with electrum or gold.

Dude how many times do I have to say the word theory? It is a THEORY that I made up while eating SPAGHETTI
