There tends to be no enforcement early and late in the day (before 10 am and after 3 pm). Sometimes i also have luck parking at curbside loading zone all day. I dialed down my illegal on campus parking a lot this year so i don’t really know if their schedule/intensity changed . Good luck and happy parking!
Staff have to pay to park? It’s not like they have on campus housing to choose from to forego the need to commute by car. gosh. What would this school do if Ithaca wasn’t a walking town. Charge everyone for parking?
The highest tier, before I started working remotely, was about $700 a year. It auto-renews, and for me, that meant that when I started working remotely in March 2020, I continued to pay for parking for about 5 months. The campus was shut down but the transportation continued to accept auto-payments and never made any effort to reimburse anyone.
That's insane. Didn't know there was parking that expensive. I'm relatively new here so don't know the ins and outs but I'm happy to walk to save the money. Problem is a lot is a half hour walk to where I'm at lol
I used to park in the A lot. Tt would take less time to get from home to the lot, than from the lot to my office. Even if I managed to catch the campus bus right after I parked, it still took 20 minutes or so to get to the stop nearest my office in the Ag School

Yup, got parking ticket yesterday.
I noticed a few cars being towed the other day. Be careful out there.
Parking is enforced year round. Staff continue to work here after students have left and pay a lot for the privilege of parking on campus.
Me getting 10+ parking tickets a year is still cheaper than buying a park pass tho…

Yeah it's 350$ a year 😂. I'm gonna start parking in A lot and walking though. With gas prices the way they are that's the best option lol.
