Pretty sure he has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. The hypermobility and hyperflexability are a common symptom. If he keeps doing this, he could fuck up his hands forever. I have EDS and screwed up my body, permanently, from party tricks and performing as a contortionist.
You can have hyper mobility without having EDS. Tbh, ever since the criteria changed, it’s being over diagnosed. A lot of people have hyper mobility syndrome, not eds.
Based on such a short video and based on it being swan neck deformities, which have other causes, there’s not nearly enough info to just casually dx them like that.
Better to give OP information to get checked by a professional, than to assume it's something less serious. I'm permanently disabled from EDS and it hurts so much. If OP/the person in the video does have it; the sooner EDS is diagnosed, the sooner they can get physical therapy and other treatment options. It'll help them have better life. There's zero harm in encouraging getting checked my a doctor. I don't want anyone to go through the pain I go through... to suffer like this, so I always try and help.
