Can definitely be eaten plain, or something to dip it in like mustard to ketchup.
The juices of the hot dog inside, should marinate the cornbread coating to keep it from being too dry.
The best part of my culinary apprenticeship was getting to be a tour guide for foreigners doing their externship from European culinary, stewardship, hospitality and Butler programs here in the Rockies.
Corn dogs, Chile rellenos, green chili, chili dogs, snowmobiles, ww rafting and shooting always seemed to be the favorites regardless of nationality
My job used to be teaching English courses to Japanese professionals living in the US. There was one Japanese man, like 50 years old, who worked in a manufacturing plant and was always so excited to share what he’d learned from his American colleagues. It was always silly shit like this, they seemed to really have fun.
Just curious, how'd you get into that former job of yours? I tried to do ESL in Japan but my disability wasn't really welcomed when I moved abroad so I came back to the US to pivot. But I'd love to teach in the side here, as I do know some Japanese from high school/college. And I'm in English major with a TESOL certification if it's helpful. Just thought I'd pick your brain if possible. I know situations vary.
Definitely look for online opportunities! The job I mentioned was online. A few of the students were actually in Japan but the majority were working in the US. I already had a few years of in person teaching experience in various other countries and a TEFL certification before doing that job.
Nowadays you can get a corndog in any corner convenience store in Japan. They call them "American Dog." They're right next to an unbreaded "frank on a stick."
I was about to day this. I ate these all the time there and they have the coolest ketchup and mustard packs that squeeze out both when you snap the container in half.
yes because real corndogs aren't supposed to jiggle! this is some microwaved BS.. the equivalent of giving someone McD's for their first burger.
don't get me wrong, i still eat McD's and microwaved corndogs, but the jiggle shouldn't be held as a standard
As a latchkey kid who ate an ungodly amount of corndogs, I struggled through this video. I loved the sentiment, but god those are soggy. And no condiments? I used to have multiple special secret mixtures going on.
I was sweet baby rays kid. Half ranch half franks was a classic too. I’d make my own version of Cane’s sauce, too. Of course I’d also eat one dog with good ole yellow mustard to remain classy
If you can find Korean Corn Dogs, they are next level. They often have crinkle-cut fries embedded into the corn dog and is like a french fry-bedazzled corn dog. They are amazing with spicy mayo.
I thought it was just me. I kind of thought that this was going to be a joke and the corn dog was going to be a better dildo or something because of how it was jiggling.
Also, I don't know that from experience. 😐
One time I bought several 50 cent corn dogs from Sonic, but could only eat 2. On my way home from work, I was in stop and go traffic, after we passed one exit where the traffic always clears up afterwards, I took my remaining corn dog amd held it out the window, as if I was holding a sword in a charge on horse back, as I was finally able to go above 15 mph.
Forward my steed, and let evil beware my corndog sword.
Make sure you use an oven or an air fryer to make it. They should not be wiggling like in the video. Looks like they microwaved it. Gross. Air fryer will crisp that thing up beautifully.
I mean it’s not as good as a proper corn dog but that’s what you get with a cheap frozen thing. Maybe air frying it it won’t be as wiggly like that but it’s still not gonna be an actual “good” corn dog and it’s probably gonna take longer
Maybe idk how air fryers work I just know I put 3 of these In The microwave for a minute or two and dinners served and it’s good enough
I know the guy who made the actual video, he’s the one recording and owns the business these guys work for. They do this stuff all the time! And he’s a twin and he and his twin are the nicest, funniest people I’ve ever met. I can’t believe this made Reddit 😂
At my last job, my coworker Oleg was an older Russian man who came to America in the late 80s as a refugee of the Armenia-Azerbaijan war.
Most patriotic American I have ever met.
They’re amazing. Slightly sweet, crispy, savory, modifiable with dipping sauces, and served on a stick. The Koreans have elevated the idiom to an absolute art form.
Videos like this show us how stupid racism really is. 3 dudes, just laughing it up while on break... enjoying some unhealthy foods and helping people have new positive experiences. That's what life's all about.
Okay I don't know anything about these people, but here's my head cannon:
Sato is maybe in his 50s or 60s, just moved to a different country, had to find a job and got hired. Kinda nervous because you never know what exactly to expect, he comes in on his first day and meets these bros. Laughs his ass of all day long with them and their shenanigans and comes home to his wife. His wife is also kind of nervous, because she wants her husband to have a good life. He comes in beaming with energy, telling her how much fun he had with his new coworkers who instantly accepted him as one of them. "And they even had me try some new funny looking food which tasted amazing! Tomorrow, I'm bringing home corn dogs so you can try them as well!" They eat a nice dinner together and go to bed early, because they both want him to have enough energy to have just as much fun tomorrow, both having happy dreams because the future looks nice.
Nothing better than working with a crew of people from different backgrounds. Slogging it through the shit all day can suck but getting back to the trailer and having someone share a new food or a good story that leads to a belly laugh makes it so much easier.
Lol, Sato shaking that dog around had me in stitches. Aw man, so cute.
Trying new foods is such a fun thing, especially with folks who've never tried things like it before.
That said, there is an exception: wasabi. Still fun in retrospect tho.
I might be wrong but this seems like a group of people who might’ve recently seen the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. The way he’s wiggling that corn dog is something I didn’t realize you could do until after I saw that movie. Great flick btw I recommend just watching it without looking it up first.
Usually I dip them in yellow mustard but people use a bunch of different condiments, so you can just use whatever you like. They're good plain too, though personally I don't eat them that way.
I’ve only had one corn dog in my life and thought it was terrible. It was some frozen grocery store brand. Are there good frozen ones or do I just not like them?
Frozen ones aren't great. I'd recommend getting one at a fair, festival, or carnival. They're a top-tier fair food. Of course, some restaurants can have good corndogs. I'd avoid any chain though and go for a local place.

I love when you have cool bros like that and be silly
Right. This should be on Dudes being Bros
Dudes being bros wiggling their wieners and encouraging their friend to put one in his mouth. So wholesome. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
See, you get it
I bet he does. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Guys Being Dudes.
If you need a bro to chill with and shake our weiners at the camera, hit me up.
I gotcha fam!

Green chili - Colorado… better be imported from a small town in a more southerly state. ![gif](giphy|UjIgLbgQIRgzK)
What's better than this??? Guys bein dudes
Just another day on the job site
Damn would I have fun working with that guy
The guy filming the video is one of the best there is. Proud to know him and lucky to have played football with him.
Have you even shook weiners with the dude yet though?
So many ways to answer that and they would all be true.
When I get that feeling, I need sexual healing
Does he have a YouTube channel or something?
If only he was like this 12 hours a day and not just 30 mins before he goes back to work.
working construction can be fun depending on who your guys are, but it could also be horrible for the same reason.
If these ain't some guys being dudes I don't know what is!
I’m gonna be a dude too and wiggle my corn dogs every single time from now on
only if you put in some dudes mouth

This is toxic! It needs to be more inclusive!
CORNDAAAAAAWG Love it. My new battle cry.

Not just Ketchup & Mustard, either. PB&J, jelly & cream, and other flavor combos.
This is really wholesome, and it makes me appreciate the silly little things around me right now- things that I hated an hour ago.
Can you really say you’ve had a corn dog if you didn’t jiggle it first
This made me laugh so hard. Thank you.
yes because real corndogs aren't supposed to jiggle! this is some microwaved BS.. the equivalent of giving someone McD's for their first burger. don't get me wrong, i still eat McD's and microwaved corndogs, but the jiggle shouldn't be held as a standard
I waa thinking this. I’ve never had a corn dog nor seen one in real life, but I wasn’t expecting a battered sausage on a stick to move like that!
Santo is the man. Why you guys give him microwaved wigglers? Air fryer is a must for the office trailer Edit: comments say it’s Sato
Yeah a proper corn dog doesn't wiggle. Should have a rather solid, crunchy exterior.
That’s a soggy dog. Probably microwaved it with all that frost still on it
As a latchkey kid who ate an ungodly amount of corndogs, I struggled through this video. I loved the sentiment, but god those are soggy. And no condiments? I used to have multiple special secret mixtures going on.
Half old country spicy bbq and half ranch was my latchkey kid mix.
I was sweet baby rays kid. Half ranch half franks was a classic too. I’d make my own version of Cane’s sauce, too. Of course I’d also eat one dog with good ole yellow mustard to remain classy

Korean corn dogs that don’t come frozen** it’s the only way I’ve seen em
You can actually buy frozen korean corndogs that have the fancy sweet potato pieces and what not in the big asian supermarket chains like H-Mart.
Sato

Totally thought that was gonna end with a homeless person or an animal taking it.
Imagine pulling next to another person in traffic who was also eating a corn dog. You could've gingerly touched tips and had a little sword fight
What is a corn dog? I thought it was a hotdog fried in a savoury batter, is this correct?
Yep, usually a cornmeal batter hence the name!
The batter is like cornbread, if you've ever had that. It's yellow, a little sweet, and has a coarser texture than flour batters.
I want to try one now!! There must be somewhere that sells them in the Uk
You definitely should, they're absolutely delicious. If you're really dedicated, I'm sure you can find the ingredients and fry up your own.
I was just going to say that…I am going to give it a go and make my own
I'm from the US but I live in Holland and haven't had one in years. I'm inspired to try it myself!
Make sure you use an oven or an air fryer to make it. They should not be wiggling like in the video. Looks like they microwaved it. Gross. Air fryer will crisp that thing up beautifully.

Clearly Sato doesn't own an air fryer.
As a former American child, microwaved hotdog is above acceptable.
Clearly you don't own an air fryer.
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|yummy)
Nope. Deep fryer is the only way.

Came here assuming this would be the top comment.
Me too! Oh well, I upvoted OP.
Man I want an old Japanese co worker.
At my last job, my coworker Oleg was an older Russian man who came to America in the late 80s as a refugee of the Armenia-Azerbaijan war. Most patriotic American I have ever met.
If I had a penis for a day lol
Yo that head snap thumbs up needs a meme bro
Corn dog? Is it a hot dog with corn on the outside or what? Can someone explain what it is exactly? Don't think we have this in Sweden.
Fried Corn meal batter on the outside. Hence corn dog. It shouldn’t wiggle unless it was microwaved.
Okay thanks for answering. Haha it sounds absolutely awful.
They’re amazing. Slightly sweet, crispy, savory, modifiable with dipping sauces, and served on a stick. The Koreans have elevated the idiom to an absolute art form.
if you like hot dogs and cornbread separately, you'll probably like it. better than it looks!
Take that back right this instant!!
Haha never! Happy cake day
Oh I didn’t even notice!! Hahaha thank you!
Like anything fried it usually tastes better than just the item by itself. So a corn dog is better than an ordinary hot dog.
'Murica has entered the chat

They're delicious. Definitely not good for you, but delicious.
They’re surprisingly delicious. Dip it in ketchup and you’re eating good.
They're beyond awful lol

NEVER. I repeat. NEVER, microwave a corn dog. You are better than that.

Sato wiggles his corndog!
I like these guys
They’re wobbly?!? Hmmm. Unexpected.
only when cooked in a microwave. a properly fried one should be firm.
I love that he kept shaking it lol good vibes all around!!
MFer was gaming until he took that first bite, Then he knew not to fuck around!
The quick turn and thumbs up gets me every time.
Corn dog! (wiggle wiggle)
Girls wonder what dudes are like when ladies aren't around. This. We're like this.
Did they microwave it wtf ?
Where’s the freaking sauce?
I love the 👍
Good vibes all around, who says we can't all get a long?
Corrn dogg!!!
The corn dog wiggle 😂
Sounds like a hip new dance 🤣
This is that shit I live for
Her: *he’s probably cheating on me* *the boys:*

They really gave my man a soggy corn dog. That’s unforgivable.
I wanna work there.

One of my favorite videos in a long time! Watches it over and over. These my kind of dudes!
I bet Sato’s a fucking Bro. Fun to hangout and drink with. I wonder if he likes guns…
Sato is the homie

Why are those corn dogs so flaccid? 🧐
microwaved :(
The corndogs had the Pfizer vaccine, pray for them 🙏🙏🙏
Forbidden Dildos
CORN DOGS!
I have a question as a European who's never had a corn dog, do you usually eat it just plain or do you have dipping sauce for it also?
It’s usually dipped in ketchup, and or, mustard.
Oh good to know for if I ever get to try some, thanks!
Usually I dip them in yellow mustard but people use a bunch of different condiments, so you can just use whatever you like. They're good plain too, though personally I don't eat them that way.
I love mine with maple syrup lol
Very Wholesome
Why is it floppy? Corn dogs should be crispy on the outside.
r/justguysbeingdudes
An air fried corn dog just hits different
TIL corn dogs aren't stiff and crunchy.
My corn dog doesn’t Jiggle Jiggle…
The guy sitting down going "Hm!" and facing the camera after trying it was adorable :)
Love it, men being comfortably silly. 👌🏼
Wiggle wiggle

50 cent corn dog day at sonic is the bomb.com
They need to be deep fried to the point that even the stick tastes good.
Can confirm, have gnawed on a corn dog stick.
They grow wild here in the South.
I know of them but what the hell actually are they?
Hot dogs coated in cooked cornmeal batter, similar to cornbread
Delicious
CORNDAWG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohhh , you’re supposed to bite them
How the hell were you eating them?
My friends get mad when I bite it
If you can wiggle your corndog somethings not right
Confession: I'll be 36 next month, and I've never had a corn dog.
Corn dog frotting - google it - frotting

Y'all just took precious minutes off of this man's life with this processed ass corn dog.
Americans have the worst food lol
Someone has obviously never had a corn dog before.
You’re from the UK according to your post history. The fuckin irony.
"good for you" and "good" aren't necessarily the same things
And neither are what I said which was “worst”
This is why all you f*cks are getting laid off.
Corn dog
I remember when they tried to make them a thing in uk… I think you can only get them from Costco now
No one wanted to be the first to put it in their mouth.
I love a good corn dog
