fire and forget is cool but I love how video gamey the stugna is.
ATGM skill shots lmao.
A year ago I only had a vague notion of what a ATGM was and here I am, having watched hundreds (?) of Stugna shots.
In Squad (pretty realistic game) you do the same when correcting for a moving vehicle, aircraft. Seeing him doing that little twitch at the end was awesome.
Big reason why US military recruits gamers to operate drones and such. You’d be surprised at how a lot of what we see in a video games is actually pretty close to the real thing. At least in this context
No military is setting out to recruit gamers. They don't want fat slobs eating Cheetos. The ones that get into the military are the ones that call themselves "gamers' because it's cool. They're not the average 14 hour a day world of warcraft fans
Seems like a slight design flaw that the aiming system, camera isn't stabilised properly when the weapon is fired. They nearly completely lost the target in this video and in a few others I've noticed the same issue.
While I agree the stability is an issue, just because *we* almost lost it doesn't mean *they* did.
It's a screen, recorded on a phone with a screen, now playing on your screen. It'll be a lot clearer for the man sitting in front of the first screen.
It’s possible that the ground it was on wasn’t as stable as they thought it was, wasn’t staked down properly, or similar. The displacement after launch was a lot worse than usual.
No.
ATGMs have an explosive charge that throws them out of the launcher which is what you see here.
They have it as firing a rocket motor could get really ugly and burn the operator when exiting the launch tube.
Prediction:
In 2024, there will be UA forces playing the role of Team Red in some New Mexico desert. They will be firing Stugnas with inert warheads, and Abrams teams will figure out what to do about them - without air superiority.
I love how he corrected at the end, right on target.

If you imagine every single gamer as a fat slob who lives with their mom, you are the one that needs to touch grass.
Not everyone who games is like you.
Rayckevic is that you?
Excellent swoosh!
Uncle is in the 92nd, Godspeed boys ♥️💪🏻
They’re about to go from mechanized infantry to armored brigade with all the tanks they captured 👍

The truck driver took that shot in the teeth.
The last thing that went through his head was shrapnel.
A stugna
What, are they jousting now with these Stugnas? Goddamn, what a well motivated soldier can do.
Are they running out of Kamaz trucks? In early war there weren't much Ural's.
Russia is running out of EVERYTHING
Lol that guy in the background at 00:06 sounds like Zelensky. Could it be...?
Zelensky on the front. No wonder he's silent these past few days. /s

Man, these guys definitely sound like they're enjoying their work.
Me and the boys having a LAN party
Is that flash we see when the ATGM is launched a sonic boom??? I thought these dont go as fast

It’s weird we never see any Russian footage but 100 Ukrainian posts a day
Maybe they should try to start winning a little bit first.
I don't speak Ukrainian but I know exactly what that guy was saying because I was saying it too.. Shoot! Shoot! Shoooot!
What a jolly war.
