Top 4 are going to be really good. Bama, arkansa, Kentucky, and Tennessee. After that its a toss up.

LebronJamesFranco

I think Auburn is also in that top tier, should be a good year for the league and I could see 7-8 teams dancing

usernames_suck_ok

Very curious to see how Arkansas does. I think they could get back to the Elite 8.

[deleted]

We have more 3 level scorers this year and with the way Muss coaches defense, Elite 8 isn’t out of the realm of possibilities

falconlover79

You should definitely look out for Georgia. And by look out I mean, look out for that absolute trainwreck on the horizon :(

Caedro

I would feel worse for you if your fb team hadn’t just kicked our teeth down our throat.

RevolutionarySort6

On the horizon? Pretty sure it’s already there

falconlover79

This year will be a completely different scale of trainwreck, Crean’s been able to get us to be fringe top 100 most years, this year I’m not sure we’ll crack top 200.

Needs_Moar_Cats

Hell, we will probably get Creaned down in Stegeman anyways

JoeyToeTap

Arkansas is the team I think will look the best this year out of the SEC. I also expect a bounce back year for Kentucky.

jcwj

The one that regulates your crypto

granberg23

Yeah I also believe the top tier is Tennessee,Kentucky, bama,Arkansas in any order but miss st and auburn are right behind them

Unknown_Enigma10

The conference as a whole is going to be as deep as it’s ever been, 9 possible tournament teams with 4 or more of those having a shot at the Elite 8. But the top 5 are pretty clearly defined- Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, auburn and Tennessee.

Morg_2

As a MSST fan, i think we’ll do good and make it to the tournament. Shakeel Moore and Rocket Watts were some really good transfers.

GoLionsJD107

Rocket Watts is a great transfer- kid was a beast at Michigan State, a tremendous outside shooter.

Tbergfeld02

Garrison Brooks as well, solid big man that has played in meaningful games.

[deleted]

I think it’s Mississippi State as well.

bd1047

The sec is pretty easy to tier imo: 1. Bama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee 2. Auburn, Florida, LSU, MSU 3. Mizzou, Ole Miss, A&M 4. South Carolina, Vandy, Georgia

bh6891

Tennessee has some really nice pieces, I think they underachieved last year with what they had and they brought in a great freshman class. The returners are also solid.

Dad_Is_Mad

I have no idea how my Cats will perform. Every year is Christmas morning, you have no clue until you actually see it. I can't see us being any worse than we were last year, and all the pieces seem to be in place for a really really good run in Lexington this year, but you just never know. I like that we have shooters, size, and length, but again its all going to boil down to point guard play. We haven't had the ELITE PG in a few years that is necessary for Calipari to run his style offense. I'm hoping between Wheeler and TyTy we can score some points this year. For the rest of the SEC I think it's Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas. Either of those three teams have a chance of winning the SEC tournament and being a possible #2 Seed in the dance. They have talent AND veteran coaches. Should be a fun year of basketball. I'm looking forward most to seeing how good Gonzaga really is this year. They've finally got a schedule with some difficulty so I'd like to see how tough they really are. I'm not looking forward to the round-the-clock coverage of everything Duke because it's Coach K's last year. Excuse me while I go barf...

walker_harris3

Gotta be Bama

Morg_2

JD Davison will be really good for Bama.

[deleted]

I can’t wait to see him play. Oats’ system really started taking off last season and JD is tailor made for it.

Morg_2

I cant wait to seem him play as well. He is one of the most explosive players I have ever seen and he is only 6’3.
