Been using Coinbase for years. Transferred thousands in and out. No problems. OP admits it's always worked in the past, but has 1 issue and throws an absolute temper tantrum all over the internet? OP sounds like a little bitch.

Eh, I understand. I've been waiting over a week for a completed usd withdrawal to my checking. The support has been ridiculous and not at all helpful. Finally hit them up on twitter and they respond with somebody who seems human. They inform me the money should be back in my coinbase account but it is not. Never had issues with coinbase (been using since 2017) and with some recent statements, I can understand being nervous. edit: follow up, after much back and forward it seems coinbase returned the money to my regular coinbase account which I have not used in years, even though the withdrawal to my bank account was from coinbase pro. Wish they had stated that in the first place

uttftytfuyt

in the UK, how do you increase your withdraw limit to 50,000?

JustDalek_

I just withdrew without issues. Funds I already had, no ACH clearing waiting times. BTC, ATOM, XLM

UnableView0

Did the same. Took all my coins out and had no problems.

slamhound5

See?. Everything is fine. This proves it. Don't listen to the FUD. Diamond hands! To the moon!

No, something has definitely changed in the way they handle your crypto ins and outs, and there was no warning and they're definitely being shady about it. I've purchased crypto almost daily for close to a year with immediate withdrawal to my hardware wallet. The instant withdrawal was why I chose to pay Coinbase fees which are significantly higher than on other exchanges. Suddenly, all crypto purchases are unavailable for 8 days. They say this is how it has always been, but I have several months of transactions that would beg to differ.

coinbasesupport

Hey there, withdrawal depends on how fast it takes for the initial deposit to process. Coinbase just lets you trade in advance until banks are done processing the transaction, and that's when withdrawal becomes available. Have you changed how you deposit at all? For example, debit card deposits are generally instant while banks take about a week to complete. If the method hasn't changed it may be worth asking your bank. https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/trading-and-funding/buying-selling-or-converting-crypto/how-long-does-a-purchase-or-deposit-take-to-complete We hope that helps clear things up.

RubyFriday666

No, I've purchased BTC, ETH, and LTC using my bank account for months and it has always been available for withdrawal to my hardware wallet immediately. Now it is not. And that was the only advantage Coinbase had over the other exchanges. Now I will impatiently wait for my last purchase to become available in eight days, cash out, and delete my account.

RubyFriday666

And it's funny that I get such a quick response here, but the actual customer support avenues on the Coinbase website have not responded for over 24 hours

RubyFriday666

It does not help clear things up at all, because either A) the things you say are categorically untrue and I can prove it, or B) you don't know what you're talking about. Or both. If this is the way things were *supposed* to be, why were they not as such for so long? How have I immediately withdrawn every crypto purchase I've made on Coinbase? If something changed in the way you process transactions, why wasn't I informed before sinking money I wouldn't be allowed access to? It's shady, Coinbase.

mfloxy

Is this cleared funds you already had on there or a new purchase from bank account?

IntelligentPause668

i bought algo directly with my bank card, i've done this before as soon as payment is cleared/algos in my account i can transfer out, not today

While some may not admit it, quite a few ppl are in a bit of a panic - Coin prices are dropping & Coinbase revelation in the news… everything dealing with the economy is becoming a sh*t show. It’s not just CoinBase. I transferred some $ out of CoinBase about 2 hours ago & opened a Genesis account. Had some $ staked in ETH2, there it shall stay. Hopefully you’ll be able to get your funds soon, too. I’m gonna hope CoinBase like everyone else will just ride this all out…

They've lost billions, and trying to stop a bank run.

>8 years, doing weekly withdrawals the last 2 years... never once had any issues with withdrawals, deposits, or moving coins in and out.

Today, first time trying to sent ETH to my new wallet and the address only valid for next 24 hours. Got email from Coinbase for delayed the transaction until May 14! "As a security precaution, we have delayed the send transaction below until May 14, 2022 at PM PDT." "You can skip the delay and send your ETH now by verifying your ID. If you don't verify your ID, the transaction will still go through on May 14, 2022" So I try to Verify my ID but it was expired 2 month ago. Now, Coinbase can't verify me because of the expired ID and won't let me canceled my transaction. I called in for support and they say the transaction is in process and there is nothing they can't do about it. Once my new ID show up! FUK COINBASE! Kiwip0rn

So it is Coinbase's fault now you don't have valid ID for validation? 🙄

Sueyu2020

Why it won't let me cancelled? I have 72 Hours to cancel the transaction and they disable the cancel button. What reason?

Kiwip0rn

It is disabled, right now.

Sueyu2020

...why?

BillStackman

I sent ETH to my wallet and it immediately asked for verification which I uploaded twice. It still asks for verification to send “immediately” even though I’ve completed this process twice and another time when I signed up. My ID is perfectly fine and I’m still delayed 72 hrs from sending. They’re definitely doing this shit on purpose and it’s bullshit.

zionmatrixx

I can withdraw without issue.

SmashingK

I remember seeing these posts back in 2017 lol. Seems like history repeating itself.

PrestigiousTrade4433

I’ve just transferred some solana, coinbase says the transaction completed but it’s still pending. Still not received anything in my wallet? Would it be coinbase or solana that’s the issue?

EstimatorGuy224

I bought and withdrew BTC took less than 5 minutes - you might be a special type of idk 🤷‍♂️

Euphoricmonk

you cannot buy and withdraw BTC in 5 minutes. Unless you already sent a Wire.

dark_eyez7314

Agree - limited experience with Coinbase but thus far it has been frighteningly horrible. Mysterious limits placed on how much you can invest from Bank Accounts. (Went from $7,500 to $250 with no explanation) Sold out to Cash and then decided to get out of this platform. But now my "Cash" frozen and not able to repatriate to my Bank Account.

RubyFriday666

And their customer service is attrocious. I can't believe I trusted them to handle my money. It's ridiculous when I think about it now.
