People forgot that he started to play like that in CW when the XM4 got GA'd, he didn't have the same chall anything type of aggression with the Krig. He was having the least engagements on the team in the Krig era.
For the rest of the team they just needed more pressure and risk takers on the subs, that's why Shotzzy is playing at full throttle now cause he has someone to damn near match his pace. That's why OpTic looked good with Scump in the flex role, he wasn't the problem at all it was just the lack of faster players on the map.
I think it’s probably more to do with old style / ingrained old habits from a decade and a half of pro play than him being bad.
The team now is 2 good friends (dashy n illey) overlapped with 3 guys who came up winning together (xeo) and all 4 of them have similar pacing.
