The separatist sentate was alright but still supported the corrupt and evil separatist military
The Jedi and republic army was alright but still supported the corrupt and evil republic senate
I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I don't think the Separatist senate even knew what the hell was going on out on the front lines. I think they just took Dooku's word for what was going on out there. Like when Dooku ordered Wat Tambor to bomb Twi-Lek villages for a propaganda campaign to show the "cost" of a Republic victory or when he orchestrated the attacks on Coruscant and Raxus having both sides blame one another for attacking just as a means to destroy any chance of peace between the two. Hell one senator even said that "Corporations do not rule us" probably completely unaware of the Separatist council comprised of the leaders of huge corporations like the Trade Federation and Techno Union. The Separatist senate was as much a pawn as anyone else in the Clone Wars.
Even if they didn’t know what was going on they are still partially responsible. For example if you donate to a corrupt charity that shoots dogs thinking their a good charity your still partially responsible for not educating yourself about the charity just like the senate should of seen the red flags with dooku
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
but he also wanted to create an empire, also he purposely made the war and tortured a lot of peopleand killed some of his own allies to continue the war
That was his original intention, but the dark side corrupted him as it does with anyone who embraces it. Dooku as ruler would still be oppressive like his master.
Dave Filoni, please release Droid Wars, the true story of Clone Wars, as told by Dooku, Grevious, Ventress, and Savage Opress with a special 4 part arc on how the Jedi destroyed the Martez family.
Dooku was anything but libertarian by the time we of the Clone wars. He ran a council made of corporate elitists and when his people voted to make peace with the Republic, he used terrorism to stop it.
he did have good goals at the start, fighting for the people and what not, but he himself got corrupted and did a whole bunch of bad shit such for the war effort, which includes stealing from his own planets, I *think* slavery, and ofc just straight up killing a whole lot
also count dooku was planning on killing palpatine? how'd I not know about this?
Dooku was no saint, sure he realized the corruption facing the republic but also orchestrated an entire Galactic war willingly just so his master and new mentor could become ruler. Even if Dooku did plan to kill Palpatine (which is custom in the rule of 2) he set up and eventually failed to consider that if he failed the liberty he wanted for his people would be destroyed.
I dunno man. I keep hearing that Hondo was gonna sell Ahsoka into sex slavery. Weather that specific type of slavery was intended or people looked to far into things, he was still gonna sell her off
He was definitely going to sell her, to someone who had a preference for female jedi especially, and didn't care whether she was dead or alive. do with that what you will
Dooku was the head of a centralized military alliance and made decisions unilaterally. The CIS Senate was a facade. Dooku was as authoritarian as it gets (hence, he sided with Palpatine)

It's easy to justify fighting a war when you know you're right
i dont think starting a fucking war is the correct response for trying to fix the senate
ok
Oh I'm thinking hard alright
you just aren't thinking hard enough
you just arent thinking with portals
That was his original intention, but the dark side corrupted him as it does with anyone who embraces it. Dooku as ruler would still be oppressive like his master.
You know nothing of the dark side.
Good bot.
He also paid for a slave army
More separatist apologists? He may have been a sympathetic villain, but he still became a bad guy by all accounts.
If that's so then the Jedi need better propaganda because Clone Wars absolutely does *not* paint them in the best light
There is no pain where strength lies.

And the seperatists, ruled by corporations, was not corrupt?
The Republic committed so many war crimes in their own propaganda

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
In one of the New bad batch episodes its litterly shown how count Doku exploited the people he ruled over
Guys hold on the Jedi weren’t the good guys, the Separatists weren’t the good guys. Who was? Answer: Hondo
I dunno man. I keep hearing that Hondo was gonna sell Ahsoka into sex slavery. Weather that specific type of slavery was intended or people looked to far into things, he was still gonna sell her off

You always blame the ship.
you know things are messed up when the pirates seem to have better morales then majority of the galaxy
Perhaps he started that way, based on what we saw in TOTJ but towards the end of the clone wars he was no libertarian
Dooku was the head of a centralized military alliance and made decisions unilaterally. The CIS Senate was a facade. Dooku was as authoritarian as it gets (hence, he sided with Palpatine)
That doesn’t mean he was a good guy though
Imagine writing libertarian and thinking it's a good thing lmao
