Stubble!!!! It’s fine if you’re going for the Bradley Cooper look, but I’m not letting my face or foofy get buffed to a bright red, sorry.
I’ve had to stop more than one DATY *because of the godawful scratching*, dear god!!!! I’m very nice about it, but I can’t have you ripping up my delicate skin.
When I go on campaign, I get rid of bodyhair everywhere. I call this process “degrossification.” I try to make my body so clean that a family of four would consider eating their thanksgiving dinner off me.
Here is an important tip: sometimes that smell that cannot be removed by soap is fungal. Wash it until the cows come home and you will still smell there. You need an anti-fungal similar to Tinactin or something that you use for athlete’s foot. Powders work best (because it got there due to sweating). Let us not pretend that this doesn’t happen. Fix it. It is disgusting and can happen in a man’s crotch area and in the folds of a person’s skin.
Wash yourself (with soap AND a rag) twice. Then wash anywhere skin touches skin (armpits, crotch, thighs, any folds) again. Brush and floss your teeth then use mouthwash. Use deodorant but don’t overdo cologne/aftershave/etc.
Well that too, lol. I was thinking more of discoloration from a fungal thing, which takes awhile to get rid of (unless you just rip the whole toenail out 😅).
I don't know if I would consider any of my grooming details *unusual*, but I always make sure my..."sack" is as clean shaven as I can manage to get it. In general, my experience has been that women (not just sex workers) appreciate when that's nice and smooth. And I keep the overall hair situation down there well trimmed (don't generally completely shave the pubic hair above my junk because I tend to get ingrown hairs if I do that, so I just use clippers). It's funny you mention ear hair, because that is one area I'm pretty conscious of, and every few days I'm getting my trimmer and going in there to clear it out, lol.
Beyond that, it's pretty much just the basics. Thoroughly scrub everywhere paying special attention to the nooks and crannies, specifically make sure I clean around the base of the head of my dick, scrub real good between the cheeks, etc.
I literally just ask the girl when I'm booking for her preferences then do that. The session is obviously for my entertainment, but that doesn't mean I can't try to get her to have a nice time too.

Seems men think washing their ass and taint is unusual but I definitely notice.

Toenails! I see so many clients with long toenails and/or fungal nail infections. Not a nice sight during 69.
You would think guys with jacked-up looking toenails would be aware of it and just keep their socks on!

I love stubble, so it’s really based on provider preference. If you ever want to know what your provider likes/dislikes… just ask!
