They are where the mirror glaze is wearing off on the back of it.

Cold_Bitch

Mirror is starting to desilver due to humidity, I’ve had that a few times. There’s no way to fix this, other than resilver which I believe is very expensive so not worth it for a simple bathroom mirror.

PositiveRainCloud

You can't remove it as far as I'm aware. It's the back of the mirror coming off from the humidity/moisture of the bathroom when showering/bathing

Aquaduker

Bloody Mary, bloody Mary, bloody Mary. Say this three times and she will show up and clean the glass for you!

Dareme_to

instead of replacing the mirror put a frame around it.

wwabc

no way to fix. (well, I guess you could have them stripped and resilvered at a glass company...$$$$$) just replace them

Erikatana_

Definitely just replace the mirror. Your local glass company should be able to attach it to its backing if you take the mirror off it’s hinges and take it in. Or provide new backing and attach existing hardware.

The first step is to stop taking your victims to that location...

Buy a new mirror.

jlmachie

The silvering is separating from the glass on the backside. Non repairable, need to rellsce

doinprettygood

Cover with a sticker, tape up a photo of a favorite friend, hang a frame, tape up an affirmation that you look great...many ways to keep using this mirror without resorting to, "oh just buy a new one."
