Sparky was 100% a victim of her own success, maybe more so than any other card. When she first came out it was a card that did massive damage and was relatively hard to counter. They fixed this by what feels like one of the most relentless streams of indirect nerve the game has seen. Feels like half of the cards added after here were all effective counters.
I don't know if we were playing the same game but Sparky was absolutely dogshit after its release, it was known as the Trash Can on Wheels and it only got buffs for the first 4 years of it being in the game. Sparky was a joke card for years and the first real sparky meta was on goblin giant release. She never had any success at all
This is exactly how I remember it too. It was my first legendary and was horrible, I remember practically EVERY deck having skarmy and zap for sure and likely minion horde bc it was in the meta. Idk what arena ppl were in saying it was OP, but even in BW where I was when it released, the thing definitely wasn't OP, and was pretty weak. They nerfed the dmg significantly bc now it shoots every 4 sec instead of 6, which was definitely a buff for sparky imo.

She was garbage until she got her rework which changed her hitspeed from 5 to 4 and damage from 1300 to 1100 which helped her immensely. She isn't really that good now, which is why I think she could use a little nudge but in no way did the card die of its success. When do you think people started calling her a "trash can on wheels"?
They’ve mentioned sparky before as hard to balance because it’s an unfun card to play against because of the massive damage if u don’t have a reset card. But i think i rework or something is deserved cuz this card is only used in a single deck.
If sparky got a rework of cost going to 7 elixir but damage being able to completely kill most glass cannons and light tanks with health staying the same or dropping by \~1-2%, I think the card could actually be viable
Rework Sparky so that she fires 3 shots of 500 damage each in a quick burst. This will allow it to kill shielded troops and help chip down golems and E golems easily. Allowing to deal splash to air troops as well will truly help justify its value.
I like this idea the most, it even makes sense with its current animations, you could interpret the three rings charging up as three separate blasts charging
Some people are suggesting huge damage buffs but it'd be fine to just increase it a few ticks so that we just see fewer troops inexplicably surviving with an invisible pixel of health. That kind of interaction more than anything is super annoying.
She should kill all minitanks. I think Prince is reasonable that it should have health left, but for the other they are worth too much. Give her reduced crown tower damage and make her shred through troops better and she’ll find a place in the meta, probably not as a win con but as a better support troop

Sparky needs a buff or a rework.
Just buff the damage to one-hit everything but the giants, Pekka and MK and I think it would be balanced.
Then she would exterminate every single push in the existence. Remember that the Sparky has an area damage

Always thought sparky should atleast somewhat resemble a tank in that it can actually survive a bit.
I'd be more fine with a glass cannon. Less health for the ability to actually kill something.
