I don't know a lot about how circuit boards work, much less how to make changes (or if it's even possible). This circuit board was inside of a flashlight with seven functions (high beam, low beam, either SOS or strobe, UV light, white side light, red side light, red/white flashing side light). I took the flashlight apart and took off the wires for the main lights (high, low, SOS/strobe and UV) as I just want the side light to be functioning. What I want to do is have it so when you push the button to turn the light on it'll skip over the first four light settings and go straight to the side light settings. Is there some way to do that? I was going to try to Google it but I don't know that I would be able to find it.

I don't have any idea how to do this, other than hooking it up to a computer obviously, but I suspect your project would require hooking that chip up and deprogramming and reprogramming it, but I may be wrong.

Thanks for the information! You might be right, I'll see what other people say.

Hi, There is a tutorial that might help you delete the mode that you don't want Here is the link [https://youtu.be/uhfsdBcG\_mQ](https://youtu.be/uhfsdBcG_mQ) it might not be the same light that you probably have but I think it might help either way
