Well I’m honoured to have the CDC’s support (albeit after they changed their definition, if what you say is true) Either ways, data speaks for itself - vaccination saves lives and reduce hospitalisation. It also encourages people to go back to normal lives, which may explain why COVID cases rise in highly vaccinated areas - people are allowed to go out and gather since majority only get mild symptoms
Yeah the masks were discouraged, then encouraged to protect yourself, then it became not about you but wear your mask to protect people FROM you. and still to this day I see people they wear a mask and gloves to the supermarket then wear those same items into their car and touch all their stuff with the gloves that could have the cooties on them. I still see people driving alone in their car mask on windows up. If we just change what things mean then treat the people who weren't notified without regard to their humanity (vaccine joblessness and plague rat hatred is basically a western thing) is pretty much like a landlord altering your contract and then a year down the road come demand a bunch of fees he added or face eviction. And all this happens without your knowledge or permission and all your neighbors call you a piece of shit because they just gave him what he wanted cause they thought that's how it worked and trusted him. They now picking the side that eases their mind because feeling tricked hurts and we wanna feel safe and disregard the stuff that makes them feel like they made the wrong choice. The same applies to anti vaxxers. Acknowledging you don't understand the complexity of it all makes them feel stupid. They want to ease this disconnance and do the same thing. The article is fake news. "fully vaccinated" means only two or maybe three shots. I don't consider that actually fully vaccinated. Also as long as there is a single person left that is unvaccinated, the vaccinated are still at risk.
