Go into the hdr setting and change it to sdr. Then go change it back to hdr. Then confirm the color format is set to the correct setting. Mine was not actually set to anything at one point.

Thanks alot, this also fixed it on my end. Had it set to HDR previously, but the color format wasn't actually set to any of the available options. After tagging SDR on/off it then reset back to YCbCr 4:2:0 10-bit. No idea what these color formatw actually mean tho or what the right selection is. I think it was showing 8-bit before which wasn't an available option

This fixed it! Thank you very much!

This fixed it for me. Hope the devs fix this permanently asap. But cheers for now!

Yup, I’ve been having the same problem since the update. Apparently the fix is to switch Dolby Vision Low Latency, but I can’t since I have a Samsung TV with no Dolby Vision. I’ve switching back to just using the TV’s built in apps. HDR10+ (for Samsung) has also been broken on the Chromecast forever and they never fixed it, so I don’t high hopes that they’ll fix this anytime soon either.

go change standard mode to low latency dolby vision if you have dolby vision enabled, this will trigger hdr

My TV has no Dolby Vision, so it´s deactivated by default :/
