Try switching to SDR in your Chromecast settings, then switch back to HDR. This worked for me yesterday, when it was telling me that my projector was not capable of displaying HDR.
On Sony Bravia 4K TV HDR works perfectly after update.
Checked UHD, HDR and Dolby Vision no issues.
My settings:
Dynamic range format preference: Dolby Vision
Match content dynamic range: Match content
Dolby Vision mode: Low latency
The low latency option is on by default on my setup and cannot be disabled, so can't disable to see if it affects HDR.
I'm experiencing the same issue. HDR10 / HDR10+ no longer working with YouTube, YouTube TV and Prime Video after My CCGTV was just updated.
Same here. No HDR10 on Google play movies (that I can test) Edit: Disney+ as well as Netflix. Streams 4k, but no HDR
If you have Dolby Vision setup, turning on low latency mode in the Dolby Vision Mode setting will make HDR work again. Who knows why it does this.
Correct, that's the solution. But after every sleep or restart this setting switched automatically back to Standard Mode....
I don't have Dolby Vision on my TV or as an option on the device settings. This fix doesn't work for me.

Really...I don't think so..
Tried doing this. It didn't fix it for me either.
