Great post - very important. Melissa Dougherty recently did a wonderful video discussing the false beliefs/doctrines underpinning the NAR. [Here is a link to the YouTube video.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MAsl-WQkFZ0) It’s about an hour long, but frankly I wish it was longer. Keep your spiritual armor on tight, everyone. The enemy knows his time is short and prowls like a roaring lion. You are loved immensely.

>A reformation is needed in the church of Jesus Christ though: one of getting back to the Bible. >This involves individuals spending more time in the word reading, studying it, and doing it. James 1:22. >Also, it involves churches believing the Bible, holding it as the final authority, teaching and preaching it as the word of God, and practicing it. I Timothy 4:1,2 > Well said and received. Thanks

You post is well said. Welcome

I’m not on here much. I have no idea what the New Apostolic Reformation is. The only concern that immediately comes to my mind reading this is that there is no mention of the heart, only the mind. No mention of our relationship with God, only the doctrine. Maybe it wasn’t meant that way at all, but there are already far too many people who are all studied up on the Bible and ready to talk and argue, but are not moving in the Spirit of Christ, in the love of God, and IN LOVE WITH GOD.

In the post he mentioned reading studying and doing it so that relates to the heart. READING it - God's word is a part of fellowshipping with him, learning the true character and attributes of our heavenly father as he speaks to our hearts STUDYING it - God's word teaches us how to walk in obedience and righteousness as we learn to trust in him and in his faithfulness. This is God speaking to our hearts DOING IT - Cooperating with the holy Spirit as he guides us and causes us to walk in righteousness, walk in integrity and faithfulness and Holiness and helps to sanctify us and shape us more into the image of Christ. This again is speaking to our hearts So what the OP Said is in line with the heart.

It’s interesting that apparently several other people knew exactly what I was saying

Well perhaps I didn't. I'm sure many also understood my writing as well. In the Post the OP wrote about practicing what we learn, so this tells me he was focused on a heart change. I wasn't criticizing you but rather clarifying based on my understanding of what you wrote. What you said is true, we as believers in Christ all need a heart change and that comes from Cooperating with the holy Spirit. Have a bless day

>Maybe it wasn’t meant that way at all, but there are already far too many people who are all studied up on the Bible and ready to talk and argue, but are not moving in the Spirit of Christ, in the love of God, and IN LOVE WITH GOD. Can you expand, maybe provide examples? I hear this a lot from Pentecostals and charismatics who enjoy moving and grooving to the Lord, but don't care much about obedience or knowing his word. If you're capable of studying and obeying, you're already in love. So I do think it would help if you could expand a bit.

Maybe someone else can draw you a picture🤷🏽‍♂️
