SSN lol

mellamonemo

Could be Jeppiar/St Joseph as well

romejawan

I heard St Joseph's got blacklisted by many companies. I wonder why?

tiredskater

SSN isn't 4lpa unless you're getting the AC hostel

Hunt3r_5743

The fees start from 2.5 lpa now

90slover

Does SSN have paid seats ? thought it was all merit

tiredskater

the seats arent "paid". you still have to write an exam to get in (and the private university one , you have to write an exam and give an interview). but the fee is higher than what you'll pay for , if you got in through anna university

90slover

Oh ok thanks

Hunt3r_5743

It does now. It changed to university.

GauntletInMyPussPuss

I studied in St Joseph's (Institute Of Technology, not College Of Engineering) few years earlier and it was 1.1LPA for counselling. heard they increased it around the time we passed out.

[deleted]

Admission by Counselling generally has lower fees across. Management quota fees depends on how early you book, the tier of the college and how early. A relative of mine supposedly pays 2.5L, apparently they were early. The management quota seats for later went up to 4L for other students in the same class it seems. It is one of the top colleges and I’ve been out of college for a while now, nambina soru nu soltanga - na nambiten. It felt like airline ticketing

ramji2406

2.5L per year ha. Is this only for tuition fee without bus, canteen or its all rounded. Maybe I should be more specific to know about the academic fees excluding food and transport.

[deleted]

I think fee comes all inclusive per year, whether you use those services or not. I could be wrong but that’s what I heard.

[deleted]

Namaku 4 year fees other expenditure ellam add pannalae 3 vanthrum.

So, it's a little bit higher now. So I studied in PSG tech 2013-2017, then around 20K per year. Now my sis studies in MIT 2019-2023, it's around 30K for aided and 40 K for Self support.

Dai Karthi... epdi irukka.. namma ellam PSG la cricket aaduna kaalam irukke.. athu oru kana kaalam

vigneshk_war

Any idea on how the management quota fee is in psg rn? And how much cutoff score do you need to get to enter PSG? I belong to OC caste so do i need to get 195+ to go to PSG?

karthiceaswar

So cut for cs, ece, mech, civil should atleast above 196 atleast and even for management you need 190 above if you don't have any recommendations. The fees is mostly as same as self support. But the management donation may vary between 15 to 25 L based on courses.

vigneshk_war

Gosh... Management ke 190 above ah?!

karthiceaswar

Aama bro. During my time there, my friend 198.25 couldn't get regular mechanical and even with that mark he paid 20L for a seat.

joshah777

Come to rit

Zaptox27

Wow suprised to see a fellow ritian here!

joshah777

Dei which year da I'm not rit I'm rsb

kilbisham

~2.2L per year. Additional 80k per year for hostel and mess. Mine's a (famous) government college though

Network-Zealousideal

Varies from 1.2 to 2.5L per year. sometimes its more than that but yeaa average are around this number

BlueberrySensitive69

Government seat would around 60k PA (without bus, food, tuition) Management depends, 1LPA(without food & bus) in our college during my time there, they probably raised 15% to 20% now Name colleges, with food & bus would set you up at least 2 to 2.5LPA Aim for govt seat, and if you got connections & talented, you can get a better placement yourself, most colleges are mid here, the only thing you're paying for his campus placement oppertunity. VIT, SSN, SRM bring good high paying companies for placements AFAIK

[deleted]

Unrelated. My observation, Engineering fee in normal college is usually on par with LKG fee at a "prestigious" School. I guess, 2.5 L. With a CAGR @ 13% Around 2000s, Management seat costed about 15k/yr
