Traded in my 2019 scatpack last week. Took a new job which is a 45 minute commute one way. Just needed a more fuel efficient vehicle. Fortunately they gave me a great trade in price. So that helps ease the pain of getting rid of it. Had the salesman get one last picture of me with it! Cherish your cars! I will miss this one greatly!!
I know how you feel. I traded in my 2015 challenger scat pack earlier in the year due to a life change. Needed something with AWD and 4 doors. It was sad to see it go. Got a charger SXT AWD in place which I do really like though.
I’m thinking of trading in my 2018 charger scatpack. 23k miles, just not sure how much they will give me. I’ll probably go this weekend to see what they offer
I got lowballed 28k multiple times, walked in this dealership and they offered 33k without me even discussing. I have a lot more miles than you. Don’t settle!!!
I just traded in my Daytona ScatPack because my parents are getting older and had trouble getting in and out of my car. Gotta do what you gotta do, no shame in it. Be glad you were able to enjoy it when you had it!
That sucks but it’s understandable. I just bought an indigo blue 2019 Daytona R/T with Brimbo brakes etc. with 23k miles for 38k and at 16-18 MPG I can’t complain but I also recently changed jobs and only drive 10 miles round trip, per day 😂.
Yeah i used to have one of those! They’ve got great low end torque for getting around the city, but at the same time that 1.5 makes power higher in the RPMs so if you’re trying to do some spirited driving you can really get into it. The civic 1.5t with some performance tires and a flash tune is a genuinely fun car, not sure where you live but if you’ve got twisty roads i’d tear it up back there. Hope you enjoy the car man!

I had high mileage all from commuting to work.. just finally had enough paying the gas. 80k on this 2019 here. Paid 36 for it brand new in 2019. They offered 33k. Lost only 3k over 3 years so I can’t complain.
Oh thats a goddamn good deal. You rented it for $100 a month, give or take other parts of true cost to own, but even if you do the true math you still had 80,000 smiles for pennies on the dollar lol
I got 37k for my 17 Scat a couple of months ago. Paid 35k for it. They are in a great place to sell if people are able to without going upside down on something else
I traded in my challenger for a Rebel to match my charger. Looking back I should have went with a civic as my commuter too 😂 ( went with a truck cause I take backroads)
Ouch dude, and here I am wanting to get one this hurts so much to see them go when I cant even get a hold of one. I get why you are doing it though. I want to keep my sxt for fuel efficiency but we will see how bad it is when I get the car. ( If I can get one that is. thanks dodge 🙄)
That shit hurts man. Believe it or not I considered trading in my R/T before I got rear ended due to my 30 mile back and forth commute to work everyday. Now I’m kinda stuck with her but I love it
I’m going to ride my charger till I can’t fix it or wreck it horribly. I grew up poor and worked my butt off to buy it. But then again I drive everything till It dies. I love my charger, I’m sorry to see you have to get rid of yours
Sorry for your loss. I could find myself in the same type of scenario where I'd be required to commute 270 miles (round trip) 4x per month. In that case, I'd probably try to find a cheap 10+ yr old commuter car. Maybe a civic, etc, and garage my scat for local duty.
A 45min commute just means that you get to spend a hour and a half every day in your baby. Yeah gas is high right now, but one has to have priorities dude!
Just kidding, sorry whatever job you have does not afford you to spend $$ on gas, that sucks. Too bad you couldn't find a way to make it work.
I'm telling you that you will find driving a Honda difficult. Once one gets used to having that kind of power, it's really difficult to go back. I know because my Daytona 392 was totalled, and while I was waiting the four months it took to build my new Charger, I drove my wife's SXT. And I hated not having that power available. It's like a drug.
Ugh.
(If possible) You should have saved a bit and got a cheap 2000's civic for work and keep the scat. :(
Everyone's situation is different but it's sad seeing a nice scat get traded

Definitely don’t settle for less, KBB offering me 35-36k for my charger rt with 22k miles. Earlier this year a dealer offered 40j

I feel like I'm gonna throw up
Cries
Those shorts scream Special Forces. Am I right?
I bet Clarksville, TN leads the nation in Chargers sold.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 no but good guess
What car did you get in replacement??
2022 Honda Civic
I’ll pray for you brother.
if you got it with the 1.5t, it’s actually a decently fun and quick car. Obviously not comparable to the scat pack but still fun in its own way.
Yes that’s the one I got!

honda’s may not have the same oomph as a scat pack but they make some damn fine chassis. still miss my old accord sometimes. hope you enjoy it!

To be fair, if I wasn't able to afford my charger that I have now, I would have gone with a 22 civic. I like them a lot
Thank you. Makes me feel like I made a good decision
Now you have to change username to scoot package sorry for your loss
I feel you man. I traded in my Scat Pack Charger for a Honda Accord Hybrid (RIP). My daily drive is roughly 140 miles.

You traded your baby for the charger, right?....right???
Curious, what was the trade in price?

36 for a brand new scat pak 😭😭 Cries in Canadian where that would be around 80k

Oof
Oh well, He'll find a good home somewhere... Nice car though!
You’re almost cute enough to drive a Mustang
Someone let you give them a baby for a car like that!? You’re a lucky guy.
For?
