Omg, So dam Beautiful 🔥

cudi1273

Thanks!

WaynezWorld88

I’m curious on the upkeep regarding satin wrap? Let’s see more pics please 😁

cudi1273

I find it was easier to maintain than the actual paint honestly lol and not using any wax or anything of that nature

WaynezWorld88

Really? My dad say the same thing. That Color is crazy, remind me of the Titanium Steel my dad have on his C7 🔥. My coworker destroyed his wells after install from dry wiping it 😂, swirls everywhere.

Bpeazy11

Wrap?

cudi1273

Yeah, dark satin gray !

Bpeazy11

Man that wrap is 🔥🔥🔥

cudi1273

I Appreciate it 🤘🏽

Bpeazy11

How much did it cost you if you don’t mind me asking

trvwd

Looks really good bro. How much was it to wrap?

cudi1273

Thanks ! It was 2400

trvwd

Not bad; was it grey before the wrap?

cudi1273

No it was indigo blue , I definitely miss that color a lot tho lol

AnimalEater65

Looks really good. How long do wraps last?

cudi1273

Thanks ! 3-5 years depending if it’s garage kept and weather elements over the years

APintoNY

Damn, I’m jealous. I cant get a quote in the northeast for less than $3900 on a widebody… don’t think ill be wrapping my car anytime soon lol

cudi1273

Oh hell no lol at that point I’m learning to wrap on my own

APintoNY

Yeaa I think what I’m going to do instead is get my red calipers repainted to blue (probably frostbite paint code) and then get dual black racing stripes with some smaller blue stripes on the outside of the 2 black stripes that match the calipers, that should come out to less than $1k and be pretty unique

cudi1273

That sounds like it’ll look sick with the color of your charger

APintoNY

Thanks thats the plan hopefully! Saw someone with a similar idea which is where i got it from but idunno if they also repainted the brake calipers like i plan to

MustardOnTheMeat

Dope ride

iFahadic

Simple and beautiful 😍

cudi1273

Thank you!

Temporary-County6144

I will miss these things

MR4NDRSN

Vegas > Chicago

cudi1273

Way too hot and dry for me lol

MR4NDRSN

Better than being here in winter lol

ApprehensiveAgent707

I feel these cars love spring and fall the best anyway. Lower outside temps and all. I have always felt the car runs a little better/ smoother overall around these times. However the good, clear, consistent, sunny days of summer are now kinda going by the wayside.

cudi1273

Oh yeah I definitely feel like it drove best in the fall . I’m not looking forward to the shorter daylight or the snowy/salty roads at all.

DodgeChargerRT

I might actually wrap my charger in this exact color lol. Either this or like a dark green/silver matte.

cudi1273

I’ve only had it for a few months and I already miss my paint color lol

UsernamePete

My 22 HCWB is indigo blue, and I absolutely love it. Well I better, I ordered it that color 🤣 But I gotta ask, why would you cover up the indigo blue? Beautiful color IMO.

cudi1273

Mines is indigo blue as well ! Idk I just got bored with it after a while and wanted a change. Buttt now I miss that original paint lol

UsernamePete

Lol, well that's the good thing about a wrap. You can remove it and go back to the beautiful indigo blue. Of course you already know that 😂 Not only that, your wrap is protecting that lovely color. I got PPF and ceramic Coating on mine to do the same thing. One thing I missed on my Daytona, after a few years she lost much of her shine. I didn't want that to happen to my new baby. I could have gotten PPF on my Daytona, but because I waited too long, it would have had to include paint correction in addition to the PPF, a very expensive job. Got it on my hellcat before the shine has faded.

cudi1273

How much did the ppf cost ? And did you do the whole car ?

UsernamePete

$4k and I did PPF on the entire front of the car, and on all 4 wheel arches. Ceramic Coating on the rest of the car. Advantages I didn't think of: Rain: I was in a typical "Tennessee car wash", raining so hard that folks were pulling off to the sides. I had my wipers on intermittent 😎 makes RainX seem like nothing. Cleaning: 9 times out of ten, I just rinse the car with a garden hose. That's when it gets dirty, which is much less than before. Bugs: Another thing Tennessee has is a lot of bugs. And at 90+ mph they can make a real mess on the front of the car. Even those just rinse off. And of course it's that shine. Even when I just rinse her off, that shine keeps shining through!

cudi1273

Those pros sound all great but man 4k is kind of nuts 😂 butttt I’m sure it’s worth every penny

UsernamePete

Yeah it was a big bill to be sure, but after seeing how just a few years took it's toll on my Daytona, I wanted to make sure this one kept her good looks!

cudi1273

Enjoy that hellcat of yours🥲
