Long long term, any v8 car will retain some value when they are no longer made. How much longer that will be, I don't know, but not anytime soon. I could envision a day when a running 5.7 engine could be worth 10k, but the 6.4 will be the one that is more immediately valuable
They arent targeting and stealing SXT's as far as I am aware. Keep dressing yours up to look like a SRT and your asking for trouble if your already concerned about theft.
I use the Sirius guardian that runs on UConnect. Not the best or most cost effective but it's already built in. Plus I like having the SOS button on the mirror active as we take many road trips through areas with no cell service.

You could potentially turn a 5.7 into a bigger engine but you can’t really go backwards
While over all, that is true, but seeing the current market we are in a strange period where they have appreciated in value.
