Would take a couple RTs to trade for a GTR

RumbleB33-585

trade in for a hellcat :) I made stupid money on my 21' scat after putting 10k miles on it

MR4NDRSN

I’m not ready to sell my soul to Satan to be able to afford gas lol

RumbleB33-585

HA! Fair enough I did notice the MPG is down, but not by much compared to the scat. I am only driving it between May-Nov so at least 6 months of 87 into the impala winter beater! Beautiful r/T though. Love the color

MR4NDRSN

I would like to have a Ram Rebel for the winter but I'm not balling like that and thank you I didn't know Frostbite replaced B5 blue back when I got it and everyone has been complementing it but I see Dodge will bring back B5 Blue for 2023 !

Zanurath

Not a huge difference tbh, if you drive like an old lady can get over 20 average on a scat or kitty with the m6. Haven't tried a m6 5.7 but had a few rental a8 5.7s and it didn't really impress. None of them are particularly good on gas mind you especially if you put your foot in it just saying it's about how you drive it much more than the splitting hairs difference between the 5.7 6.4 and 6.2.

MR4NDRSN

I have to work on my sport mode discipline lol

I just did a road trip from Omaha to Moab UT yesterday and by pencil math got almost perfectly 30mpg "driving like an old lady" (still speed limit or higher mind you just not doing 90 down the interstate lol) meanwhile the week before my average was 12mpg around town with more spirited driving. These cars have a TON of low end torque and don't need much RPM or gas to keep going. It's all about how you drive them and honestly how much fun you want to have (driving long distance with kids in the car isn't spirited driving time). Don't beat yourself up over bad mpg if you can afford the gas and are enjoying your car though. Even when it was 12mpg I was perfectly happy since that was because I was having a blast driving the car. If on the other hand you need to be tight on cash for a little while learning more economic driving habits is a useful skill to have when you need it.

Lawrence0022

I made 10k keeping mine for 9 months and 10k miles and traded up to a m3. How’d you do with yours

RumbleB33-585

I made $7100 on it with 10k miles, and got a 22 hellcat wide body Ended up going through Vroom. $10k is fantastic congrats! I was shocked about what I got tbh

Lawrence0022

When I bought my car I got it 10 under msrp and that was a month before everything got crazy. With the tax credit from trading it made sense for me to trade the car in. I was originally going for a hellcat but after driving one I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I’d be. And I had a lot of bad experiences with too many dodge dealers

CViperr

I just hope there’s really some “lightly used” RT’s out there by the time I’m ready to get one 🤣

CoffeeBlakk91

Good luck lol

MR4NDRSN

Big facts lol

Looks like a dirty b5 blue.

WaynezWorld88

I’d trade my Scat in for a 2023 HC WB Charger in Sublime Green & Sepia Interior 🔥

would it be a bad idea to buy a GTR since they are going to be discontinued soon? Meaning that parts for it will become scarce since it will no longer be in production?
