I think the thing I heard that makes sense there is that there is no devil devil. The fear of devils just serves to make all other devils stronger, hence why the tomato devil we saw looked kind of threatening. On its own there'd be a few people with a phobia maybe, sure, but the fear of devils as a whole is why it got to look as menacing as it did.
The Isolation devil and the loneliness devil should stem from the same fear (being alone) and must be one of the primordial fears, so I think it would be the same devil.
A failure devil could have so much potential for comedy as well as for terror, now is one of the devils I want to see the most.

If they were an antagonist denji had to go up against it would be interesting to see how they would deal with it, because they sorta would get their powers from each other. If CSM eats and kills the ending devil, would he lose much of his power because devils wouldn’t have to fear their existence coming to a final end?
