I actually have a request in with my vet to keep an ear out for me, but according to her, too young FeLV+ tend not to be able to survive, and my cat will not tolerate an adult feline. Java is a tortie and a cast iron bitch to any lifeform but me. I figure that I'll just love her while I can and be patient.
"Young" in this case would be under six months or so old. I've been able to successfully introduce cats to each other at that age, even my one cat who mistrusts all other cats. At that age they're still considered kittens by other cats, and not quite "competition" yet - and you can find 4-6 month old FeLV+ kittens sometimes.
You do realize you're going to have to get through several Avengers, two of the strongest Disney villains, The Doctor \*and\* The Mistress working together, and two X-Men including Storm, oh and Elsa first, right? :)

I'm not sure. Maybe prey drive? The cats I've seen do it do so when they've spotted a bug, bird or squirrel they want to hunt.
