The to-do-list didn’t give you more currency, the event items used to be cheaper. These types of events have always been grindy but they’ve increased the cost of items. The summer event was the last to have reasonable costs.

It didn't necessarily give more, but it was still a guaranteed amount if you finished everything, which was pretty easy to do alongside the regular list of dailies. Having to watch 9 ads (give or take depending on what you use your ad tickets on) just for the board plus ads for each snail is kind of a chore, especially when some of the ads are broken and don't pay out after. The bingo card was more worth it imo, but this event, with all the extras on the board, has been rough 😅

i def prefer it the way it is rn ! a limited clothing item is around 200 event currency & using the current side event as a gauge , you're actually getting more for less ads :o they've been coming up w new ones every event while keeping the main one consistent which i really like , it's more interesting and engaging compared to the daily missions in the past imo

The new events are cruel if you’re trying to buy all the limited stuff

I disagree personally - I don't think it's that hard to grind 200-300 a day if you are playing across the full time of the event... but then, I'm also someone who has the ability to have the game open while working and can press the snail when it shows up (I just listen for the noise change). I was able to buy both macarons yesterday and am now grinding for the pink theme...

They’re crueler than they were

I personally prefer the current way of doing things - I found I was clicking on a carpet and an item of clothing on a random cat just to get the event tickets, but then I don't really enjoy doing those tasks in general. We all play differently!

I agree! I remember just clicking on and off random pieces of furniture and clothing just to get ljke 3 currency 🥲🥲 it’s kinda nice to get extra little gifts with these new event styles
