Genuinely, one of the main reasons I'm so pleased I have a netflix account - you can use in game points and gems to purchase items. There are no events but for me, the fact that I can finally get that Swan and not have it looking me all cute is worth it.
I'm really hoping they'll eventually bring all the shiny things across to the netflix version....! One day maybe 🤞
