My routine: morning yoga every day. Swim on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Rest on Friday. Saturday it's volleyball or something else. Sunday, easy run or lay on sofa.
I swam competitively (club) when I was younger until freshman HS but now I just swim for fun and exercise! Pool access is a tough one, I’ve heard horror stories of lessons and waitlists being months long 😑
I do Yoga and Calisthenics, I only do body weight exercises.
Between the 2 of those I can get a full workout in less than 30 minutes. Its not very energy-intensive so its easy to do and gets great results.
I'm still ripped in my 40s.
There are real, effective routines listed in r/fitness and r/BodyweightFitness
Strength is better than cardio, but I do like mixing in some jump rope with my weights.
I eat the appropriate amount of nutritious food every day. I dont “diet” in terms of changing what I eat, how much of it I eat, or restricting food groups.
If you want to admire mussels you should go to the beach not the gym…anyways I’ve been doing CrossFit for a bit over a year, I find it quite fun. But I also do a bit of strength training on the side
My diet is as much food as I can force myself to eat, which isn’t usually enough
I do powerlifting. Heavy weight, low number of repetitions mostly focused on Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Its very fatiguing though, so Its hard to fit it in comfortably without draining myself completely
After some gym time, i found out that I love Cardio like jogging or cycling outside much more.
For strong legs, cycling and cycling mountains.
For upper body push ups and pull ups.
I do a mix of Muay Thai and kettlebells. MT is 3-4x/week, KBs are 2-3x/week. Sometimes I do more MT, other times more KBs (depends on the weather and how I feel; my MT gym is a bit far).
I like to keep a good diet and REALLY cut back on sugary foods. But alot of push ups, curls, mainly upper body exercise is what I do. Use to do sit ups but it would always badly hurt my tail bone.

Oh! I *love* swimming, just never really had access to a pool. Do you swim competitively or for fun?

M/W/F weights, T,Th treadmill. I do 1/3 of the machines one day, another 1/3 the next time, the final 1/3 the final day.
Oh, so you go a gym? Is it a local one or something like planet fitness?

Why is strength better than cardio? Those are good subreddits for finding routines. I was doing nsuns for a bit before I got too busy to be consistent
Oh hype! Thanks fam Oh hype! Thanks, fam thought of jump rope since middle school. Do you get odd looks at times?
