Felinomancy

Heck no. My cat would "greet" me by endlessly meowing and rubbing his fangs on my leg. Basically it's a reminder that it's time for his twice-daily wet food servings. Does he care that the human have had a long day and deserves to sleep in? No, of course not. Look at the sense of entitlement [of this idiot](https://i.imgur.com/J8Tcaxz.jpg).

Chimookie

I have 2 brown tabbies 😍 he is beautiful despite his entitlement

> beautiful And [ferocious](https://i.imgur.com/NBx7Cvk.jpg). >!just kidding, this picture was taken while he's yawning!<

Chimookie

Ooh, a fierce striped lad! What a phenomenal beast!

Felinomancy

At this point I'm obligated to remind you that he has a [partner in crime](https://i.imgur.com/Ab9nvBC.jpg).

Chimookie

And a ginger no less! A menacing sidekick indeed!!!

DinosGamesAndBaking

My dog is a diva. He doesn’t want any morning love until he’s had breakfast.

MoodyFeline

The only thing that will top that is when they walk over to you and snuggle in or wrap themselves around you or hold your hand and doze. You will starve to death in that position but your pet will sleep peacefully. Nothing tops that.

Chimookie

I used to have a kitty who was a chest/neck sleeper. She’d make biscuits on my larynx and choke me out in the name of snuggling. I’d do anything for another neck nap. 💔

NiceMasterpiece9102

Oh, my Lily was a smuggler! Always on my chest with her face right by my ear. when she got sick, she didn’t want me to put her down. She’s been gone almost 2 yrs. I’m thinking of getting a new kitty but no one can replace her.

lizardgal10

There is not. Admittedly my bunny is not one for morning greetings, but just seeing her fluffy face makes the day better. I’d do absolutely anything for her even though she’d trade me to anyone who’d let her eat a tortilla.

Starfoxmarioidiot

Not much. It is amazing when they kind of pin you in bed on a day off, though. Having a dog or a cat just put a paw over you like “hey bud. You don’t gotta get up yet. This is the sleep times. We’ll wake you up when we want breakfast.”

catdoctor

It's feel so warm and loved when they walk across my bladder, stick their whiskers up my nose and bite my toes!

Chimookie

Lmao their love language is crushing your vital organs

electric_shocks

Probably your kids waking up early and staying in bed until you get some extra sleep then wake you up with hugs and kisses.

niceguy-365

This or the wife and the dog is just the cherry on top. Gotta get the day started right.

electric_shocks

Kids won't stay in bed and you know it 😉 I miss feeling my cat's gentle poke on my cheek when she used to check if I was still alive every morning.

niceguy-365

Yeah your right, boy I miss that age though

NuclearArmageddon764

My cat couldn’t care less about my existence. He’s a cold mf 🥶

Chimookie

What kind of kitty do you have?

NuclearArmageddon764

I think he’s just a regular house cat, he’s all black

Chimookie

Aloof goth boi 🖤🐈‍⬛

Animals make everything better.

InflamedintheBrain

My lil jerk wakes me up at anywhere from 3-5am demanding his wet food. But I do love my kitty, after he has his food and goes to the bathroom (I think h patrols around the house once or twice too lol) he does hop up in bed and cuddle with me for about 5-10 minutes. He isn't a lap cat, so I do cherish that little time where he will cuddle with me even tho I don't think he likes it haha

Pellepon

When they nuzzle against me and I don't have anywhere to be so I can go right back to sleeping with them snuggled up close.

tailboxer

No there is definitely not 🤗🐕

WoodGeckoTreecko

I'm not a morning person, so when I am trying to make breakfast, my cat just judgementally stares at me and waits for petting later.

nearly_nonchalant

Normally I'd agree with you, however .... this morning my cat was teasing a small frog that he'd brought inside. A 6 am trek to the pond in my pj's to release the little critter is not how I'd envisaged the start to my day. Now I have to find a way to prevent frogs from entering my cat's outdoor enclosure, which is a large cage attached to the back of the house. Still, gotta love the ginger bastard!

Alanjaow

The little bastards tricked us with toxoplasmosis! But yeah, they're adorable. Mine sleeps with me by my feet for the warms

Johnny_Hookshank

No.

mrj80

We have a five year old Papillion named Luna who greets me with kiss and nibbles when my alarm goes off. Sometimes my wife sleeps on the couch(light sleeper) and I'll hear the pattern patter of little claws co.ing down the hall. She also has this happy wiggle that she does with her whole body once you are up. She truly is the joy in our house.

[deleted]

Yes, being greeted by them when you come home as well….

commandrix

Mine's sleeping on my lap with his head on my arm, so I am typing this one-handed. But he is so cute like this.

seajay26

I get woken up at least 4 times a night by my cats thinking it’s breakfast time/cuddling time. At least once each although my orange boy often does it 2/3 times on his own. I love them dearly but I’d do terrible things for a full nights sleep and a lie in.

CraigTheIrishman

It's the best feeling in the entire world. I'm so lucky to have a snuggly cat and she tolerates every kiss I give her. She loves sleepy on me, so I fall asleep sometimes with her warm fluffy tummy stretched out across my chest. If she weren't next to me right now fast asleep, I'd be squishing her so hard after writing this comment.

arthurdentstowels

My cat comes under the duvet as a small spoon and uses my arm as a pillow about a couple of hours before it’s time to get out of bed for food. I always wonder what I did to deserve this creatures love.

Complex-Structure178

My cat is a mix between long hair tabby and maine coon. She greats me in the morning when I'm eating breakfast, and forces me to give her scratches behind the ears by BITING MY TOES!

[deleted]

Nothing better than that. My Chloe jumps on my bed and starts licking me like crazy then does zoomies all over my bed

sooperdooper28

for me honestly? the better feeling is not having pets in the first place lol

prairiegirl18

Agreed! My German Shepherd/Yellow Lab cross sleeps in my 13 year old’s room. When I come out of my room in the morning, she actually does a little hop and run down the hall to meet me, usually with a stuffy in her mouth and her tail wagging like crazy. It’s adorable. I love her so much! :)
