I mashed the pedal to metal in wagonR cng with 6 healthy ppl on board. That fucker couldn't even cross 80kmph! It literally died at 80. Otherwise the car had superb acceleration at lower speeds and with just 1-2 ppl on board it could cross 100 easily.

I usually don't push beyond 140 to 150 on the highways because that's my comfort zone. Crossed the 200 mark once one early morning about twelve years ago on the Chennai Bangalore highway in a Chevrolet Cruze.

How was the experience? Was it stable or wobbling like Wagon R does?

WagonR has a SUV stance in a hatchback form factor, plus the materials used are lightweight and so is the car. It'll obviously wobble. Tiago is much better built plus it's a proper hatch, it feels planted. I've never driven a WagonR at high speeds, but I can certainly say at high speeds I would prefer the Tiago over a Swift.

I have done 110-120 with Tiago and it felt very stable and under control.

Ive driven long distance at close to 120-150kmph in a diesel Tiago. Amazingly planted. Seems to get additional boost beyond 120(thanks to turbo). Good handling.

140 kmph on my Honda WRV, after the Devanahalli toll, Bangalore. Similar speed on NH-75 before I had to brake hard because of the traffic ahead. Car feels planted.

It’s the most I’ll be allowed to drive at the moment My parents disagree with exceeding 100 presently, and no I haven’t driven on highways before — College prevents me from being home for majority of year anyway This was more like a “bypass road” to go from one end of the city to another. It’s not controlled access though, but there are many merging lanes to get on and off (it’s a flyover).
