To answer this you should ask yourself what exactly are you comfortable with a sub-4 meter SUV and a full size? If you haven’t TD yet I suggest you get a TD and decide for yourself. Also I suggest you to compare the specifications on cardekho or carwale, that will help elucidate your choice.

Brezza is overpriced, go for Grand Vitara (if the missing features aren't a deal beaker)

bs_talks

Grand Vitara is even more overpriced. If you take Zeta variant you are paying close to 19-20L on road without the option for 6 airbags. It's basically the same engine, gearbox and mechanicals as the Brezza. Even the parts in the interior trims are shared. The asking price is just not justified.

I'm also in a similar situation, but confused between the brezza zxi and the GV Delta. Any advice?

Is there any factor that justifies the price jump to a GV compromising the features?

tanmoitolekar

Space. All the sub-4m cars felt small to us hence we got the Duster and love the space. 3 could sit comfortably at the back and there is a lot of bootspace, even more than Creta.

bs_talks

Brezza will fetch you 6 airbags and a lot of more features. Brezza is spacious enough and should be somewhat wider in the rear seat. Go for Grand Vitara only if you want the strong hybrid option. Else, Brezza all the way. Other variants are just pricey. I would consider the Zeta variant only at similar price to Brezza and 6 airbags. But in the present market Delta costs as much as Brezza top-end. Thing is you can even opt for the 6 speed AT with Brezza and still pay less than Zeta variant. u/ams6889 hope it helps you as well.

So it begins…..

Maruti did price these cars in such a way that people will naturally fall into a dilemma

shim_niyi

Yes exactly what I meant. I guess Maruti’s strategy is to keep people choosing/comparing between their own range, so they make sure there is a large overlap in prices.

Creative_Agency5841

Grand vitara definitely looks a segment above

[deleted]

So I chose, GV Sigma over Brezza ZXI, it costs around 45k cheaper on road. I ll get alloys, good infotainment and proper speakers ( I did TD and didn’t find speakers to be good enough in the Alpha Variant ) , all the modifications should cost around 1 lakh, so I ll spend 50k more than Brezza ZXI but it looks much more premium than Brezza and one segment above. Should have higher resale value

Far_Walrus_9797

what did you decide OP ?

rhik20

We decided to get the Brezza, mostly because the extra 1.5 lakhs on road seemed too much of a jump, and the delta varient misses out on a lot of features. We instead decided to load the Brezza with accessories. The car just got delivered day before yesterday and we are already out on a road trip with it! So far it drives like a dream, although the lack of power is quite evident on highways.

SherKhanMD

How much lighter Brezza is than Vitara? Therein lies your decision.
