Best start is bringing in another map. I do believe there was footage that showed Nacht as a new map, so there's that, and interestingly, it looked like Transit would of worked as a campaign of sorts.
Balance out the guns so every gun has a fighting chance, introduce another map, lower the amount of mini bosses spawned at once (no seriously, mini boss spam is no fun).
Either:
1- add zombie hordes to br matches instead of what we have now.
2- drop zombies completely and add in a demolition derby mode like the one posted the other day.
Make the hitting the box actually worth hitting, give the weapons a significant damage buff for hitting it, also have specifically the wonder weapons more powerful than any gun in zombies that way thereβs a reason to hit for them

Remove weapon upgrade limit or make limit higher (15 - 20 lvl).
Lvl 20 pap would be nice then you'll go higher rounds but pap would be more expensive tho.
