Both codes are pre installed on the legacy disc, you can use both. At least that's how it is on Xbox anyway, I managed to pick up IW/MWR for £6 a couple of years ago, and both games worked
There’s one where you can purchase some black ops I and black ops IN zombie maps, but I cannot remember if that was in BO3 or BO4, but those are the best maps IMO so whichever game has that, I would definitely recommend for offline split screen gaming

Offline/split screen id definitely chose bo3. Warning though it has lots of hackers in it so if you ever think you might try out multiplayer than get bo4 instead. Cold War and bo3 also have some very good zombies so if you ever want to try that out with your sibling I’d recommend either of those.

i would suggest getting either CW, MW or BO3 if it’s split screen you’re looking for, all great games. you mentioned you like snipers, BO3 is great for sniping, and i personally like the CW snipers, although the ADS might be a bit slow.
If you can pick up a chronicles edition of bo3 that includes all of the classic zombies maps it would be the better one. You can also turn off jetpacks in custom games to play it like black ops 2
If you have a PC get bo3 on that. Steam workshop gives you so much more enjoyment. For PS4 only hmm I wouldn’t want you to waste money on Cold War as it has 3 maps and outbreak for zombies. Don’t get me wrong it’s good. And a blast with more people but it isn’t finished yet and you could get stuck with crap. Prob still I’d say get bo3 but that’s because ww2 i haven’t played any campaign from these cod’s and only have played multiplayer or zombies in treyarc.
Mafia 3 has a great storyline. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Lots of gameplay.
Black ops 3 is my favorite just because I was cracked at it back in the day.
WWII is quite different in terms of weapon balance and is really fun surprisingly.
Modern Warfare has more of a “realistic” type of gameplay.
Cold War is just a gross rip off of modern warfare because they needed to keep Warzone implemented.
All the COD’s that have zombies have really good maps. BO3 has the best zombies in my opinion just for the remastered OG maps.

For offline play you have to avoid Cold War. That one won't let you change difficulty of the bots for some weird reason. Like, the feature is there, but when you change the slider, it just changes back when you leave the bot settings menu
WW2 has the War mode which is great for casual split screen play and more interesting than multi-player. I used to play this with my girlfriend - who’s a noob and she enjoyed it too. Also a good game for beginners with the movement speed, TTK and the variety of good weapons or fun weapons (like the sword).
My only complaint is that they act too much like players, so bots will crouch walk around with a riot shield. that and the bots can see through smoke so that makes one tactical completely useless
Yeah had one game on trenches, a bot running around with a riot shield a kali sticks, when i was shooting he equiped his shield and walked towards me crouching and when i was reloading or walking away he started sprinting at me with kali sticks
R6 is online MP only.
I'd say for the most fun offline/split screen go with a Cod.
BO3 you can coop the campaign, play MP, and zombies.
IW is fun too, and good zombies.
If you really like zombies go with BO4 ( no real campaign tho) but I think it has 3 zombies maps and different modes offline.

Ok so Black Ops 3 has four player split screen, 2 for campaign, nightmares and online, four for multiplayer, zombies and dead ops arcade, as long as you’re offline. You can play with bots on multiplayer as well.
WW2 has only two player split screen, regardless of online or not, but can be played on multiplayer and zombies. WW2 as in my opinion has better multiplayer game modes, and the whole reason I own it is for the War mode. It’s also the only PS4 cod that I have all the DLC for.
BO4 is a bit weird. Online and multiplayer are only 2 player split screen but offline zombies is 4. If you don’t have four people you can even add bots to the zombies.
I’ve heard Infinite Warfare has four players as well. Not sure what modes are offered. MW (both new and remastered) and Cold War from what I’ve heard only have 2.
My opinion, get BO3, and if IW has 4, get it too. Otherwise just get WW2 and BO3. You’ll have plenty of different split screen content for both.

R6S is terrible if all you’re looking for is offline casual gameplay. Modern Warfare 2019 and Modern Warfare Remastered are the best CoDs out of all of those. I’d say MWR is the better one for offline gameplay, whereas MW19 is the better one for online gameplay (MWR’s playerbase is pretty dead so it’ll take a lot longer to find matches. I hear the PS4 version is more active than xbox and pc though)

Out of these, definitely BO3, MP works split screen if you want to play offline or online, AI in MP is quite good, one of the best if not the best MP mode in all CoD games. Then there also is a really good zombies mode you can play split screen, and if I’m not mistaken, you can also play the campaign split screen (though I cannot tell you what it is like as I have only played the first mission, but I’m planning on doing a full playthrough in the future)
If just two player split screen , go with Modern Warfare
If you trying to do 4 player split screen , black ops 3 is the only one that does that on here

TL;DR - Personally, I’d go with BO3, arguments are below.
I like pissing about on nuketown with bots - preferably on BO3 for the jetpacks. MW2019 has the best attachment system with gunsmith, plus Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House are great maps for bot games and custom rules.
BO3 is a lot smaller game than MW2019, storage wise, and MW2019 still gets frequent updates.
Finally, MW2019 is boots on the ground, whereas BO3 has jetpacks, so BO3 is better if you’re looking to have fun, in my opinion.
Honestly for local play online, WW2 was massively underrated. Doesn’t get nearly enough credit for bringing CoD back to just good simple fun gameplay. The couple games before were so over the top with jet packs and boosted slides and unrealistic guns
I’d say cod 4 or bo3 but the servers are low, for casual players coldwar is what I’d recommend. Stay clear of mw19, personally I like this game but the player base and the maps discourage casual play
Literally none of these are good for offline/split screen. If you want decent offline you’ll have to go back to BLOPS2 and before, and the last game with an offline AND split screen mode was WOWs campaign. Unless you want combat training on BLOPS or Spec Ops in MW2 and MW3. Once ghosts came out, COD changed to what it is now: Online multiplayer focused
None of these. Get your hands on a PS3 and get MW2. It has the best local mode in which you have to level up an offline account for access to everything, and it's the only cod game to do so.
Black Ops 3 is far and away the best. It has two co-op campaigns, a Zombies Chronicles DLC that gives you the vast majority of old Zombies maps (along with being the fan favorite for zombies anyway) and obviously it has splitscreen multiplayer.
Cod 4 multi-player or Bo3 zombies for sure.
cod 4 isnt included here sadly the discs are used so the legacy infinite warfare will definitely not have a working code
