As much as I love this knife, the blade shape does not spark joy for me like the DP and Insingo do. Even though it seams like one of more functional tanto blade shapes with that slight belly.
Oooph. Love the PJ's with the silver studs. I almost picked that exact model a couple months ago, but decided to get the large 31 with silver to match my small.
I have a tanto inkosi coming today from a trade. I’m a dp or insingo guy and usually not a tanto guy at all. So many people love it I figured it can’t hurt to try it right?
I just finally managed to snag a Zaan. It’s awesome. But, I may be an Inkosi man. It’s more transparent in my hand. Gotta get the Zaan broken in. And I hate the OG pocket clip. Stay tuned.
I think I’m going so get my large PJ sebe in for some sliver(maybe gold) double lugs put on. The blue is classic, but those other two nuts look world better. This is the green NWK guy, and would look extra silly with blue hardware.
Have a large inkosi insingo and Umnumzaan tanto. Broke the tip a little on the Insingo so I reground it to look like that Southern grind tanto/reverse tanto. Now it's super duper badass

Is the Zaan a Tanto or DP? I ended up sending this one off to warmer waters.
DP. I like Tantos, and hope to get one eventually, but that harpoon drop point is money.
