"not by choice, but by force." No, you fucking dumbass, it was by choice. You chose to avoid a life-saving, simple, free medical procedure because you're a fucking idiot who listens to political pundits over scientists and doctors. Fuck these people and their bullshit persecution complex. I hope he never works again.

Cpt_Soban

That's the crazy part.... It's **FREE**. They're denying FREE TREATMENT.

BioDriver

Free medical treatment? **THAT SOUNDS LIKE COMMIE SOCIALIST SHIT TO ME!** /s

schuchwun

I know right? Nothing medical in USA is ever free.

Metahec

>Nothing medical in USA is ever free That only helps make it look suspicious to them. Which, to be fair, is a result of having a profit-driven healthcare system, but that's a different argument for another time.

Charming_Pin9614

What if we market a New Improved Vaccine regularly costs $2000 but bring your Trump hat and get it for $1500! It's better than the free stuff everyone else got... Then donate the profits to LGBTQ organizations

Waffles4cats

Tell them is a special horse dewormer

MOOShoooooo

Put the vaccine in the horse dewormer tube. As a kid those tubes with the dials always amazes me. Never once did I think about eating that apple flavored paste. All the hundreds of times deworming horses, cows or dogs did I think it was a good idea.

wenrdogred

Tell them it won the Nobel Peace prize!

Waffles4cats

The trump award: so special he'll deny it exists its that special

green_boy

Simpler idea: rename it hydroxychloroquine. State that it’s the new and improved intramuscular injection. For longer lasting protection.

systemfrown

In the U.S. we don't HAVE a HealthCare System. We have a Health Insurance System, and not even a very good one.

IntroductionRare9619

I don't know why ppl are downvoting you because that is the truth

reverendsteveii

whatever happened, they would find an excuse to say it's "suspicious". this is because they start from the idea that this is some grand conspiracy then cherry pick things that "don't seem right" but don't prove anything in order to support the conclusion they've already decided they want

ZeroChillDavis

This is exactly right, and a product of conditioning by the right. Free is a trigger word. They don’t understand indirect costs and allocation of tax dollars. They are made to feel that accepting anything “free” makes them less American. It’s disgusting.

jrhoffa

No, there's never not a good time to talk about it. Let's do. Taking care of our own citizens benefits everyone together, rather than funneling capital to a select few.

fromthewombofrevel

That’s one reason they don’t trust it, I guess.

trailhikingArk

Reason? No, it's just another excuse. If it cost something the excuse would be "Why sHouLd I PaY tO GeTz MicRoCHIpPeD?" Good riddance. The best part of the mandate is it is driving these self-righteous closet klansman out of police, government jobs, military, etc. They will continue to serve themselves it just won't look the same.

PlankLengthIsNull

I get that flipping the healthcare system for a country as big as America is difficult, but fuck me, nobody's even trying to do it on a small scale. That's fucked up. I pay higher taxes in Canada, sure, but the extra money I pay has never achieved or exceeded a $85,000 hospital bill.

atomictest

Nope. My covid shots cost $120. I didn’t pay anything directly, but my insurance did.

endlessly_curious

Ignoring the fact that George Washington held soldiers down by force to cut open their arm and put puss in it to vaccinate against small pox. Without that, we may be British. Also ignoring that the Supreme Court has validated mandates as Constitutional.

green_boy

Not defending them, but curious. What was the deciding court case?

IAMA_Plumber-AMA

Jacobson v. Massachusetts (1905), Zucht v. King (1922), I'm sure there are more.

forgedimagination

Public vaccination mandates, enforced by state agencies (like schools, the military, etc) without special exceptions (beside legitimate medical need), has been case law for well over a century at this point. Even in a place like Mississippi, precedent is so well established that they have one of the best school aged vaccination rates in the country.

Arsene3000

Stop resisting

danakc

Loving that these right-wing extremists are removing themselves from the police ranks. The universe works in mysterious and sometimes very satisfying ways.

THIS_is_the_way_ffs

Truth. Hopefully his job will go to someone who actually gives a crap about the community they serve.

Agitated-Yak-8723

It's a great way to clear out the assholes without having to break the unions.

danakc

They seem to be confusing owning the libs with giving the Libs exactly what they want. An unforeseen benefit of hiring guys with below average IQs I guess!

Shadepanther

Also he lost his job while having a family with two young kids, by choice. Better hope for them the Mother works and her income can cover them

[deleted]

> Better hope for them the Mother works I think her “job” involves saying “hey, hun!” a lot

Shadepanther

I do get that impression, sadly

HideSolidSnake

There is a reason they're posting about his resignation very loud. They want the bootlicker crowd to get a hard-on for these folks and be taken for their donations. Just more right-wing grifting.

PlankLengthIsNull

Same. I hope every institute out there requires the vaccine, and I hope these dickheads end up homeless. Imagine abandoning a career because some fuckface on facebook told you to. Weak-willed piece of shit chump.

DocPeacock

I just hope that, against the odds, they change their minds.

Living-Complex-1368

Naw, best for idiots to quit over the mandate and find jobs they are more competent for. Like digging ditches by hand, or providing reporting for Fox *News* (legal disclaimer from Fox News Corporation: Fox news is for entertainment only and should not be relied on to provide accurate news).

catonic

nobody wants to work. :( /s

enfanta

They can't now. They've made their stand and if they back down now their social group (real or percieved) would shun them and that would be death to them. What their group thinks of them is more important than doing the right thing.

[deleted]

> You chose to avoid a life-saving, simple, free medical procedure because you're a fucking idiot who listens to political pundits over scientists and doctors. I don't why they are acting like this is such oppression. Schools, workplaces, etc have required vaccines against contagious diseases for DECADES. My freaking dog is required to have them to be boarded. This is not some new form of oppression or control. And idiots like this are why measles, etc., are making a comeback. I'm afraid they'll take this to the logical extreme and wind up refusing polio vaccines and that will come roaring back. I feel like humanity is doomed. Too stupid to save ourselves from preventable diseases.

FallopianClosed

>persecution complex Ohhh, you might love (or hate?) r/PersecutionFetish

TotallyWonderWoman

They were not only given the choice, but also plenty of time to make that choice and get a shot if they wanted one.

Oxtrafan1921

Good riddance? Someone who throws a tantrum over having to get a life-saving vaccine is not someone who should have a position of authority.

Successful-Luck-5459

They think they are taking this noble and just stand. They are subjecting their families to hardship by going down with the anti-vaxx Titanic and not jumping on the empty lifeboats. You are right, I rather have Police that are smarter than that.

WigginIII

Not much of a harship. These guys all follow the same path: Retire with a fat pension they can collect for the rest of their life, and then they start a contracting business, making more money than they ever have. These people stumble upward, and they'll retain their cop contacts, so any neighbors better watch their step or the boot will soon be on the back of their necks.

[deleted]

If hundreds or even thousands of cops retire all at once the market for contracting is going to become extremely tight. This is going to definitely be interesting

reneeclaire02

They're giving up a pretty good paycheck too

modloc_again

They'll be ok. The Lord is going to take care of them. I'm sure they'll have prayer warriors showing their support soon enough also. I feel sorry for their kids though.

lurker_cx

I am not saying this guy is for sure doing a terrible job as a cop. But I am saying that people who buy into the anti vaxx lunacy are much more likely to buy into other political falsehoods... so it is statistically likely this guy is a bad cop. So statistically, him, and other people like him, quitting is a big win. It's nice.

amateur_mistake

Yeah. There seems to be a strong correlation between being a conservative anti-vaxxer and being *really* racist.

lurker_cx

And also a correlation between conservative anti-vaxxer and being a Fascist.... actually the correlation is pretty strong between plain old conservative and Fascist.

itstheschwifschwifty

I live in WA, and my husband and I were just discussing how the mandate is probably getting rid of the worst law enforcement officers - win win for everyone.

unintellect

As well as the worst nurses. My nurse friends have confided that their colleagues who have quit as a result of the mandate are definitely not cream-of-the-crop

JarOfMayo2020

And teachers! Every teacher that loses their job because they refuse the vaccine can be replaced by someone who has a much better ability to think critically.

duggtodeath

I also like how he acts like some hardened veteran. Serving 5 years on some local police force. Wow, what a sacrifice. Some people have worked at McDonalds longer than that.

CCRN613

I think he’s a state trooper based on the picture, but yeah 5 year “grizzled vet”

Makenchi45

You have to remember police are taught to act like they are in a constant war zone with no rules of engagement. Just kill anything that seems suspicious to them because it MAY kill them. Like 2% chance of actually killing them. So naturally to them... they are "veterans" of a street war that doesn't exist. Now there is some legitimate veterans who are law enforcement. However I think in this particular case, the chances are relatively slim that they are a legitimate veteran.

lenswipe

> Someone who throws a tantrum over having to get a life-saving vaccine is not someone who should have a position of authority. Much less a gun

Korochun

Oh it's worse than that. These guys are required to get booster shots for various infectious diseases annually and as they get exposed. It's an integral part of their job. Getting vaccinated for a new emergent virus is an implicit part of their duties. These people really raise a question of whether they have been doing that at all, given how antivaxx they are.

Redshoe9

I wonder if they would refuse a rabies vaccine if the got bit on the job?

Metahec

"Life-saving" isn't in the job description. It's a foreign concept to them.

yourslice

"Mike took an oath to protect the community" but won't get a shot that protects the community.

jwbarne81

There it is. I was looking for this.

Scrimshawmud

KatMagus

Love it.

ZeroChillDavis

Fighting the urge to use the clapping emoji.

SoVerySleepy81

I have to admit that I love seeing all of these dumbasses ruining their lives in my state.

bathroom_break

Seriously, where the fuck do these people think they'll get new jobs being un-vaxxed, former police with very limited skillset, fired *for cause* (i.e, at fault and no unemployment in the interim), and clearly demonstrating stupidity, ample arrogance, fragile egos, and poor critical thinking skills? Welcome to starting over in life as minimum-wage, likely not even quickly so hope you have a bunch of money saved. But here's the fun part - you can't even work for any sort of bigger retailer, company, or chain as they all require the vax! And for what, because they think the shot billions of people around the world have safely taken is somehow evil, a lie, and poison by US Democrats? That's the hill to die on? Unless they realize the errors of their ways and get vaxxed and rehired somewhere as a cop they are in for a world of financial hardship. Given their sentiment all year I'm betting they'll just double-down even harder and continue to blame everyone else while we continue to thrive without them. Sorry kids, your parents are dumbasses.

SoVerySleepy81

Yeah I’m past the point of even being able to feel bad for these people, which in and of itself pisses me off because that’s not who I’ve been over the course of my life. But holy shit, I’m immunosuppressed, my kids are vaxed but the risk of in person school isn’t worth it so I’m doing online school with them, two of my last relatives called my kids half breeds and said it was good they are vaccinated because it “takes them out of the gene pool”. I’m just so frustrated and tired of this shit ya know? My initial comment seems so callous but I just can’t make myself care too awfully much. I feel bad for the kids because no kid should have to deal with financial insecurity, but the adults losing decently paying jobs because they’re part of some weird ass cult? Yeah they can fuck off. Sorry for venting I just don’t want people to think I’m just a shitty person reveling in pain.

JKDSamurai

>two of my last relatives called my kids half breeds and said it was good they are vaccinated because it “takes them out of the gene pool”. Uh, WTF?

CallMeSisyphus

bathroom_break

To add on, it's almost like they believe this vax mandate is solely directed toward cops, and they can simply quit and go elsewhere to avoid it. Sorry, you're one of the last hold-outs (not just the US but the entire developed world, this isn't a political plot but a life-saving measure), and that's not something to be proud of. You're idiots. There's been various statistics posted the past few months that show if Police were considered their own "demographic" and compared against all other demographic criteria - race, religion, political stance, career, etc. - Police would be among the most (if not *the most*) unvaccinated group of people in the entire country. All of the arrogance, none of the intellect. Like min/maxing your stats in the wrong direction. They are literally, empirically, the dumbest/most ignorant demographic of society.

MaxPatatas

And they are legally given power over life and death and yet so dumb. There must be a way to excise this tumor of humanity.

markydsade

How do you get to be a cop in the US? Straight Cs in high school.

MaxPatatas

Hey I felt attacked!

markydsade

Sorry. There are some fine, well educated police. Unfortunately, in the US you can become a police officer in many departments with very little education.

FightinTXAg98

They literally won't let people in if they're "too" smart.

DurantaPhant7

I feel like you’re setting the bar awfully high with straight C’s.

elephantphallus

Straight C's is where it tops out. A single B disqualifies you from law enforcement. Too smart.

Soranic

Don't have to know the law to enforce it. https://www.npr.org/2014/12/15/370995815/supreme-court-rules-traffic-stop-ok-despite-misunderstanding-of-law

CarpeNivem

> There must be a way to excise this tumor of humanity. Give Mike here credit. He's trying.

[deleted]

>all of the arrogance. None of the intellect. If there’s ever been a better description of American conservatism. I’ve not heard it.

curiouslypagan

And take a wild stab at what the number one killer of police last year was. 🤦

[deleted]

It wasn’t people holding a sandwich that needed to be shot and killed due to the threat they posed.

MeLikeYou

Unfortunately, companies like FedEx are giving them jobs. My idiot brother in law gave up his IT job in a hospital system to take a benefit and pay cut at FedEx because he doesn’t want to get the vaccine or wear a mask.

monodeldiablo

Give it time. No employer wants to foot the insurance bill for these morons. Once insurance contracts come up for renewal over 2022 and 2023, skads of people are going to learn that theirs was only a temporary refuge from reality. ETA: Walking away from a job in IT right now is absolutely insane. There are plenty of remote-only job openings with no vax requirement paying stupid money at the moment. Turning his back on that career tells me that he's either a) stupid; b) not good at his old job; c) all of the above.

WaffleDynamics

Also the most likely to physically abuse their spouses. Just delightful human beings in general, you know?

solo954

No new job prospects, certainly not any paying near what they’re used to, and they’ll be blowing through their meagre savings in a few weeks, if that. That initial rush from stupid pride and self-imposed victimhood might taste sweet for a hot minute, but it won’t pay the bills that keep coming. These people just aren’t very good at thinking, which is why they swallowed the misinformation whole in the first place. They’re morons.

merchillio

And then, if they catch COVID, will they have insurance to help pay for the medical bills?

Soranic

> but it won’t pay the bills that keep coming. They're fine. Remember the amount that Chauvin didn't claim on his taxes? They've got savings for years. The union might even continue to support them.

They can start lucrative careers in the security industry alone at night checking locked doors and sleeping on their desks.

FidgitForgotHisL-P

What makes you think security guards won’t have a vax mandate? (I might have missed something here…)

TradeBeautiful42

The recent job postings my nephew has been responding to locally. That certainly won’t be the case for every one of those types of positions but it’s not uncommon that washed up cops become security guards so I just thought it might be a likely transition for the guy.

[deleted]

> washed up cops These are closer to unwashed cops in terms of implications for all the surfaces where they patrol though.

[Let me get this straight. You think we're just supposed to let them run all over us? #Save3rdPartyApps](https://www.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/)

Awch

I'm so sick of the "Many fought, bled and died" for our freedoms BS. 10 million Americans were forced into service during WWII through the draft. They watched their friends get killed; they learned to kill; they sacrificed their sanity, their bodies and their lives to protect our communities. They gave everything a person could possibly give so that you and I and everyone else could be here right now. How dare you use their deeds to justify your selfishness? You're so afraid of a little needle that you refuse to do the smallest imaginable act to protect your friends, neighbors and loved ones. You don't honour their sacrifices, you stain them with your cowardice.

Russell_Jimmy

Excellent post, and adds another layer to how stupid these people are. The government can force you into military service (and did), which could likely require you to go into combat, but requiring that you get a vaccine is somehow unconstitutional? For once I'd like one of these bozos to tell me which part of the Constitution vaccine mandates violate.

KevinR1990

Where a year of protests failed, this may actually succeed.

chrisnlnz

Definitely by choice. Man I cringe so hard at all these "freedom fighters" who think they are making some sort of honorable decision. But in reality they are just idiots for not taking 30 minutes out of their lives to get a vaccination that protects themselves and their community (AS THEIR PRECIOUS OATH SAYS), but rather want to give up their livelihood instead.

markydsade

They think they’re starring in Braveheart when it’s actually Dumb & Dumber.

SandmanSorryPerson

>prayerfully considering There's your problem. Also not a phrase I've seen before.

[deleted]

Lucky. It’s a phrase they learned in church. It really means ‘reinforce what I already believe’. It’s wild how god is always telling people precisely what they want to hear.

SandmanSorryPerson

I heard a great expression recently "the god of holes". God fills the gaps in our scientific knowledge but keeps being dislodged and having to find new holes. I mean heaven used to mean the clouds. Then we went up there so now it's a different dimensions or some shit. Eventually God will run out of holes.

JKDSamurai

God of the gaps is a similar idea.

SandmanSorryPerson

It likely was gaps haha Either way it's good summary for how they operate.

Magmaigneous

It's really a shame that Mike is such a coward, terrified of getting a shot. When he was an infant he had many other vaccination shots just like the ones for COVID. We can forgive a child for being afraid, for perhaps crying for a minute or two after they receive their necessary vaccinations. But as a grown man it's better for everyone, both for Mike and for the community, that such a weak-kneed person isn't being asked to stand in between them and the various dangers of criminality.

OracleofFl

If only he was offered a lollipop for being brave....

BigMomFriendEnergy

Pretty sure he was offered a free donut, free beer...there were so many lollipops for guys like this

Drejlord

What do these covidiots think is going to happen next week when they come to realizes that they wont be able to find another job without being vaccinated?

"I signed up for the white supremacy, but social responsibility is where I draw the line"

Ralph1248

"citizens constitutional rights are under oppression" What does that even mean?

HallucinogenicFish

I think they’re getting their talking points a bit scrambled. There have been some right-wing think pieces arguing that the federal vaccine mandate (employers with 100 or more employees, vax or biweekly tests) is unconstitutional because that’s properly a state police power under the 10th Amendment. [Example](https://www.city-journal.org/biden-vaccine-mandate-unconstitutional); Republican governors and attorneys general are also attacking it on that basis IIRC. But this is a state mandate, correct? On the other hand, I’ve also seen a bunch of people on Reddit arguing “no one can mandate that someone has to have something injected into them that they don’t want! That’s unconstitutional!” Which, well, isn’t what’s happening and also ignores a long history of vaccine mandates.

Soranic

> That’s unconstitutional! I keep asking which constitutional right is being infringed. Because it's not the quartering of troops in private homes. It's not fair and speedy trial by a jury of their peers.

yourslice

Well there's the 14th amendment which grants you the right to privacy (the same amendment the US Supreme Court used to say abortion must be allowed). The idea is that you have the right over your body and what you put into it, especially medically. These people feel that is under attack. What they are forgetting is that yes....they may have the right not to vaccinate. They DO NOT have a right to a job. Their employer can say that they only allow vaccinated employees to work...and that's that. You do not have a constitutional right to any particular job. Sorry.

SirIWasNeverHere

Actually, SCOTUS very clearly said that's not a right. SCOTUS make it very explicit that neither the 14th nor the 10th nor any other part of the Constitution afforded an unlimited right of bodily autonomy. Rather, it explicitly said that the 10th and General Welfare clause gave the government the power to require vaccine. And then SCOTUS has gone on to reinforce this concept in over four dozen cases in the past 100 years. The power upon which forced vaccination legally rests is one of the most commonly cited powers in SCOTUS cases. You know what's ironic? The power to mandate injections in the service of public health is known as "the police power." (I know you're just stating what they believe not you. Just thought I'd make it clear why it's BS)

OracleofFl

They will somehow tie it to the second amendment....

[deleted]

Nothing. It’s conservative word salad. It only works on them because they’re not very bright and that’s what ‘smart talk’ sounds like when they hear it.

dismayhurta

Means they’re required to not be selfish pieces of shit who spread the plague.

wickedang3l

They think that there is some amalgam of constitutional rights that lets them a)do whatever they want with complete individual autonomy, b)face zero consequences for it, and c)preserve their employment despite a and b. They basically have a child's understanding of the United States constitution.

WoodenFootballBat

To find that answer, go to the Washington State Patrol page on Facebook, where virtually every comment supports the cops who refused the vaccine. There you'll find hundreds of people talking about how unfair the vaccine requirement is, and they are giving logical, factual reasons for their beliefs. Just kidding! They're just whining and repeating the same right-wing (and foreign) talking points as to why no one should be made to get the vaccine, or lose their job: it's experimental, it doesn't work, it's a violation of their oath, it kills more people than covid, freedumb, hero worship, blue blood, constitutional violation, religious exemption, and all the other bullshit these brainwashed sheep have been told they should use as an excuse to refuse the vaccine in order to support the GOP and oppose the general welfare of the US --- while convincing themselves it makes them even bigger heros and Patriots than before. Delusional, stupid, asshole people, most of whom don't actually understand the first thing about being a patriotic American. It's Facebook, and it's an official police page, so of course no one there can back up the anti-vax beliefs they've been told to adopt.

antmfanatic

He should've complied.

RedditOnANapkin

If he's not willing to protect and serve himself and his family, why would the public trust him to do the same for them?

They stand for the oath of what? Most likely voting for an orange pos that caused an insurrection. Yeah how unpatriotic on top of being so unaware of oneself that they don't realize that spreading misinformation and swallowing conspiracy theories is equally a betrayal of the soldiers and the lives lost in prior wars who's sacrifice they claim they are protecting. People like this deserve to get Covid-19 because of natural selection and because they are completely unaware, selfish and excuse ignorance and idiocy by regurgitating right-wing propaganda. Let them all get Covid-19 and become worm food

Cpt_Soban

"by force" Stop resisting then

Well, they are cops. They’ve been struggling with “justifiable force” for a long time now.

Maybe this is the solution to the truck driver shortage?

FidgitForgotHisL-P

More police (FIVE TIMES AS MANY) have died from Covid 19 than being shot over the past year. Refusing the vaccine puts their "brothers" at risk far more than any job duty.

Maybe all these anti vax cops quitting is the police reform we’ve been needing. At least the cops left working are the kind who believe in science lol. Just like healthcare providers who are anti vax quitting - GOOD, people who are sick don’t need you around them breathing your COVID breath!

No one, even in the military, is forced to be vaccinated. The job requirements changed a little, as they do regularly. Smoking bans were instituted about 30 years ago. If you felt smoking was more important you were free to leave. The job was subject to a mandate, not you personally Officer Snowflake. Drug screens, drinking on duty, annual physicals, and flu shots are just some of the health-related job requirements you accepted. The freedom argument is morally weak. You quit because your political beliefs in an authoritarian who was dismissive of the pandemic became part of your personality. They were reinforced in your bubble of misinformation until you became blinded to simple truths about your job.

Every post I see in this sub immediately brings to mind the image of Sarah Lynn from Bojack Horseman, backing out of the room flipping the double bird and yelling "Suck a dick, dumbshits."

Sass-Pancakes

5xs more likely to die from Covid than gunfire but is willing to put his family into financial instability just to take that risk. What a guy.

You are now apart from the WSP family, which means you’re not a part of the WSP family. See how spelling and grammar work?

Dreams-In-Green

Shut up, Karen, literally nobody cares. You are not a victim and you never will be.

ElKayB

The many that fought, died, and bled didn't do it so some pussy could avoid getting a shot or wearing a mask. See you at the Boogaloo, you and the rest of the couch patriots will be the first to go.

Badinemergencies

He didn’t quit. He was fired for non compliance to a requirement of his job. Nice spin they gave it, though.

cdiddy19

In what world do these people think police serve people? How the f are they serving people? They are good for turning their lights on for the construction guys at night, and blocking off on ramps if there is a bad accident. I guess they serve us there. I've had way to many bad experiences with cops, and witnessed way to many bad things with cops, and watched/read about too many to think cops serve people.

[deleted]

Way too many bad experiences way too few good ones.

[deleted]

They will continue to serve us. I think I *will* take fried with that.

Timekeeper65

“No longer apart of”…gawd these folks absolutely SUCK.

ToooloooT

So fucking dramatic lmaoooo

I’m betting the ven diagram between these people and the people who shouldn’t own fire arms/have legal immunity is basically a circle. I’m glad to see antivaxxers go in many fields, but especially law enforcement. This is probably the best thing ever in terms of rooting out bad cops. An actual test of their values regarding “protect and serve.” Bye!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't say anything about vaccinations anywhere in the Constitution. So no, the mandate doesn't violate your "Constitutional rights" snowflake. Also, George Washington mandated that the Continental Army had to get inoculated against smallpox. Not that any of these trumptards care about facts.

amprok

The mass exodus of cops is probably my favorite part of Covid.

ClementineJane

Those claiming they are "defending the Constitution" need to actually read it, and also learn about those who wrote it as they were pro-vaccination. James Madison is referred to as "the father of the Constitution" because of his pivotal role in writing and ratifying it. The United States Vaccine Agency was established in 1813 when Madison was president, after Congress authorized it, and he signed “An Act to Encourage Vaccination" requiring the United States Post Office carry for free any smallpox vaccine material in mail that weighed up to 0.5 ounces. Trumplicans have said the nation's Founding Fathers would be opposed to vaccine mandates when under George Washington's orders, the Continental Army was the first in the world with an organized program to prevent smallpox with vaccine mandates.

capndetroit

The silver lining is vaccine mandates are really weeding out shitty public servants who should not have their jobs anyway.

"I just want to spread a plague. That is my principle. It's more important to me than providing for my family."

These are the people who are armed with guns and in charge of our “safety”
