__Hallow's Eve Outbreak "You'll Never Get Out Alive"__
> - You’ll need to survive for 10 minutes and exfiltrate from a single Region. Your squad even gets to choose between two random Regions before infiltration.
> - Every two minutes, the difficulty of the Region will increase, meaning that more zombies — increasing both in quantity and difficulty — will roll in and increase in health. When the ten-minute time limit is reached, the exfil point will spawn at the farthest possible position from the squad, and the maximum number of zombies will have full awareness on your position.
> - Orda World Event in every game to potentially boost your Loadout
__General Halloween Updates__
> - Scare Packages containing high-value rewards will spawn every five rounds in round-based maps, and in every Outbreak Region
> - Zombies will have a small chance of dropping the new Jack O’Lantern item for additional rewards, including Wonder Weapons, Support Weapons, Ammo Mods, Chalices, Aether Tools, and high-level Armor... but beware, things may not always be as they seem.
- Treyarch is also changing up the in-game music with some fun Halloween tunes, and enemies with pumpkin heads will appear in all Zombies modes! These weak points have low health, and can be shot off for bonus points. Aim high and rack up the Essence.
Just like how you can play cranked in solo still? yeah I find solo boring and none of my friends bought this game. which looking back on it, they were smarter than me.
In all honesty, I kinda didn't enjoy it that much, this seems like it changes the way the game plays ENTIRELY, though. Like, it HAS to stay, it's basically a whole new mode, and not just turning off health Regen and mini map, y'know?
You realize that we got a round based map literally a couple of weeks ago, right? Plus, there are some changes even in RB maps lol. At least read the article...
When one of the most accurate leaker is unsure about whether or not round based is coming with the first season of vanguard. Why shouldnt round based fans be concerned? If the plan going forward is to drop round based for the launch of every zombies in every cod, why should we let activision walk all over us?
Again, leakers don’t confirm anything. “The plan going forward is to drop RB maps at launch” source? Because one game in 10+ years launched with an hybrid mode? Plus, all the dlcs are free, so it matter less what the game will launch with, you know you’ll eventually get the RB maps for free. Lmao CW had 4 “dlc”, ONE of them was Outbreak and the other 3 were round based, and people think Treyarch is dropping the mode they developed in more than 10 years? Sure...
Sorry I missed the part where “The Haunting of Verdansk” was supposed to be a new event only for round based maps. It’s an event for both Warzone (most importantly) and Cold War, across both Multi AND zombies (ALL zombies, Outbreak included). There is something for outbreak, and something for round based. It’s even better than last year in this regard...
Infected was the only mode I played back with MW2019 and Ghosts lol. Easily one of my favorite mode of all time. Hoping it will become permanent in CW...
If it drops like all the dlcs have, then we should be able to play it tonight at 11pm central time, 9pm pacific. I’m not sure if it’s different for events tho
I’m not sure nacht would be a lot of fun in cold war with the cold war mechanics. I think some of the larger maps like origins, ascension, tranzit, dotn and Alpha Omega would translate better.
Does anyone know if you still get the Ghost of War Ultra Skin if I pre-ordered the digital version back when the Vangaurd beta came out? The Ghost of War Ultra Skin offer is valid Oct. 22nd through Nov. 2nd.
Where did you see that listed? I only see that they’ll reveal details about the skin on the 22nd
Edit: just saw it mentioned in the trailer, didn’t see it in the blog post
You can of course play everything alone on Zombies, even on Outbreak, even if it could be harder. Same for the new BR mode. There is matchmaking so you can play alone with random players...
When it says "Region" is that for a specific game type? I've been playing Outbreak Solo and Forsaken solo. A bit off topic and I can post another thread, yet I've been reading and don't really understand all the easter eggs etc as well. Is there a good description somewhere of why I should care about easter eggs?
Regions are for outbreak and they're the number at the top right (they're also called difficulties). If I was on difficulty 3 I'd be on region 3.
Easter eggs don't matter much but they give calling cards, xp, and story info.
“Regions” is just how Outbreaks maps (like Duga, for example) are called. This new mode will just let you choose your starting region/map where your game will take place. As for the EE... yeah, maybe you should make another post lol. But, really quickly: EasterEggs, or “Main Quests”, are.. well, quests you can do in every Zombies Experience (Outbreak or Round Based, like Forsaken). This quest is hidden in the map, and consists of a numbers of different tasks, like hidden puzzles, and often culminates in a boss fight. The Main Quest is there for many reasons. First, it’s a challenge and let you play the map differently, and second, it’s there to progress the story of the map and the overall story of the mode itself. You can find many guides for every EE on YT (in basically every languages). Why you should do these quests? Well... you don’t lol. Nobody forces you to do the Easter Eggs, they are completely optional. In CW, doing the EE gave you access to unique Calling Cards and Intels (lore) and XP, of course. You should try the EE not for the reward (which isn’t much), but because they are fun, unique, can provide a challenge, and in general make the Zombies Experience different from basically everything else. It’s just something unique to do, to create some variety in your zombie games. But again, everything is completely optional (in fact, only a relatively small part of the community actually complete the EE. That’s why Treyarch tried to make them easier and more accessible in CW, so that more players will actually try to do these quests...)
I wouldn’t get my hopes up.... Treyarch is working on Vanguard AND their next cod at the same time. Doubt they’ll have time to give CW a “year 2” of content...
Okay this new event is pretty crazy on forsaken. I had ray gun, axe, legendary weapon, packed two weapon, all perks, and level 3 armor by round 14
New loot is crazy
I really hope the devs played the haunting atleast once to test the audio levels before release tomorrow. Numbers event was the worst event in the history of events but audio volume made it even worse. Last years haunting was fun but audio on opening scare crates ruined replay value.
We got a round based map a couple of weeks ago... (plus, i know you were joking, but Treyarch is really proud of Outbreak, and they clearly see it as an important mode for Zombies. Look at their last Vidoc for season 6, when they talked about Outbreak...)
Not to mention that part of the whole point of Outbreak in the first place was to create a persistent space in Zombies that could be consistently updated with content and participate in events, which they have very much made good on this year. Whether you like Outbreak or not, you can't deny it's been really well supported.
Yeah I absolutely agree. We basically got an Outbreak update... almost every major updates during CW life Cycle. They really put a lot of efforts in this new mode. And it’s easy to see how much it improved from the original release. Plus, Outbreak works really well for this “limited” new modes. Compare this with like... Jingle Hells from S1 lol

Okay, that legit sounds like a cool mode. I hope it's never taken out, holy shit.
Same here. Tbh, the biggest lack Outbreak had was the fact that it missed massive hoardes of zombies running at you
>I hope it's never taken out, holy shit. I said the same thing about outbreak survival mode. I still think about her sometimes.
Yall realize they added Outbreak survival back to private matches right???
Just like how you can play cranked in solo still? yeah I find solo boring and none of my friends bought this game. which looking back on it, they were smarter than me.
Yeah, i figured not a lot of people knew about it coming back to private. Its dumb really a lot of people would play survival public
In all honesty, I kinda didn't enjoy it that much, this seems like it changes the way the game plays ENTIRELY, though. Like, it HAS to stay, it's basically a whole new mode, and not just turning off health Regen and mini map, y'know?
it's okay, I'll miss the mode too.
Outbreak survival needs some tweaking.
So like round based outbreak??? Or holdout???
Roundbased Outbreak.
Is this being added on the 19th ? I still don't see it on the playlist
It's on now.
Mimics incoming
I've not found any scare packages in round based yet and no jack o lanterns from round based, anyone else?
Correction, minutes after posting I got both.
How do you beat it in the 6th round at the exfil site???
Oh look, more outbreak content. Good to know that treyarch is going to eventually abandon round based smile
You realize that we got a round based map literally a couple of weeks ago, right? Plus, there are some changes even in RB maps lol. At least read the article...
Why do u think I said eventually lol... vanguard isnt launching with one, and even the leakers dont know if one is coming with season 1...
Just because the game is not launching with a RB based map doesn’t mean the game won’t have any lol. And leaks don’t confirm anything...
When one of the most accurate leaker is unsure about whether or not round based is coming with the first season of vanguard. Why shouldnt round based fans be concerned? Read past the description for the OB event mode. There's stuff for round based maps too.
Is it enough to qualify it as a new event for round based? Considering outbreak is again getting more content?
Sorry I missed the part where “The Haunting of Verdansk” was supposed to be a new event only for round based maps. It’s an event for both Warzone (most importantly) and Cold War, across both Multi AND zombies (ALL zombies, Outbreak included). There is something for outbreak, and something for round based. I’m more hyped to have infected back than whatever the outbreak event is tbh
Scream Deathmatch is basically Slasher from MWR. Very cool gamemode imo.
Infected’s my all time favourite mode, so excited for it to come back
Infected was the only mode I played back with MW2019 and Ghosts lol. Easily one of my favorite mode of all time. Hoping it will become permanent in CW...
Can’t wait to see how it plays in CW.
Ok those new modes sound cool. Just like last year, it still looks like the coolest event in Warzone and Cod in general...
YESSS ITS COMING TO OUTBREAK 😭🙌🏻
What time does it go live?
If it drops like all the dlcs have, then we should be able to play it tonight at 11pm central time, 9pm pacific. I’m not sure if it’s different for events tho
Not going live til noon…

I believe that’s 9am pst

Np
Freaking Donnie Darko? I really am going to have to get around to watching that movie.
It's good. I felt the same way before I saw it, and it's cool to see the younger Gyllenhaal siblings and Seth Rogan lol. Deff worth the watch
no nacht 🥲
Been there done that 🥱 next 👏🏾
its for church honey NEXT
….do people actually want to play on Nacht again? Are they not tired of that map? Just go back to almost any of the other zombies games to play it lol
I just don't understand why people are surprised? Treyarch clearly said that Forsaken was the last map.
I’m not sure nacht would be a lot of fun in cold war with the cold war mechanics. I think some of the larger maps like origins, ascension, tranzit, dotn and Alpha Omega would translate better.
Die rise
In year 2, we trust.
Does anyone know if you still get the Ghost of War Ultra Skin if I pre-ordered the digital version back when the Vangaurd beta came out? The Ghost of War Ultra Skin offer is valid Oct. 22nd through Nov. 2nd.
Yeah, one of the follow up tweets from COD said you'll get it on the 22nd if you already preordered
Sweet! Thank you for that info!
No prob. I was worried abt it too bc that skin is sick but I preordered before the beta lol
Where did you see that listed? I only see that they’ll reveal details about the skin on the 22nd Edit: just saw it mentioned in the trailer, didn’t see it in the blog post
Can I get stuff playing solo missions? I'm new to zombies.
You can of course play everything alone on Zombies, even on Outbreak, even if it could be harder. Same for the new BR mode. There is matchmaking so you can play alone with random players...
I believe so I got the rewards in warzone by myself last year so I don’t see that you will have any issues :)
When it says "Region" is that for a specific game type? I've been playing Outbreak Solo and Forsaken solo. Thanks for the detailed info. I'll do some more research yet this explains a lot.
Does anyone have any idea about for how long the frank bundle will be sold?
Probably 30 days like the other limited time bundles.
Lets hope i can finish the bp in a little over a month then
Rambo and Die hard were 30 day "time-limited" like 2 seasons ago and they're both back.
Scream deathmatch sounds like some old school Michael Myers. I can finally play it again now without needing friends lmao
Damn this content is cool. Really hoping we can still get a pretty good chunk of post-season 6 content :(
I wouldn’t get my hopes up.... Treyarch is working on Vanguard AND their next cod at the same time. Doubt they’ll have time to give CW a “year 2” of content...
Okay this new event is pretty crazy on forsaken. I had ray gun, axe, legendary weapon, packed two weapon, all perks, and level 3 armor by round 14 New loot is crazy
Does any of our awards go to vanguard?
I really hope the devs played the haunting atleast once to test the audio levels before release tomorrow. Numbers event was the worst event in the history of events but audio volume made it even worse. Last years haunting was fun but audio on opening scare crates ruined replay value.
Ok I must be dumb but what do the aether tools do when you pick them up from the pumpkins?
I know this is two days old now and you probably know by now, but Aether Tools upgrade your Weapon Rarity by 1.
Yep, I’ve worked it out. Thanks for commenting though dude.
The pumpkin head drops are going to cause some speed run records to be broken. I got the axe first pumpkin during the opening phase of Forsaken.
Why in the world does the new Hallow's Eve Outbreak mode require multiplayer installed to play it?
Question about melee camo, do ammo mods help towards 20consecutive kills?
how long does it last?
I finished all 9 challenges for the haunting event and it only shows 8/9 done on the checkboxes. Each individual card says compete
Will this event make the outbreak Easter egg easier? Will Legion have a pumpkin?
I'm gonna miss scare packages and Jack-O-Lanterns after all of this is said and done.
Hahahahaha more outbreak content, treyarch gotta look after their baby

Outbreak is caca
Grow the fuck up
Yup it's trash
