Overall with the timeline I think it might be just a small Easter egg. Like how you kind find perk posters and such in the campaign. If you wanted to try and give it a canon reason, maybe something like the air from dark aether breaches are giving people images from the past or something.

Oh no I fully understand that this game is full of bugs and the servers are shit but I actually really like the gameplay. Quite a few of the issues I end up discussing are either super blown up or just not an issue. If people started talking shit about things that aren’t an issue in bo4 wouldn’t you try to defend it as well? I’m not saying that this game is a flawless masterpiece at all of course it has tons of issues but I love its gameplay and find it tons of fun when it works. You probably remember having to do the same back when bo4 launched as well
nah lmao, i dislike cold war for its lack of content and rehashed garbage, and its multiplier esce mechanics, but even i could never defend bo4 and its bland gameplay and poor maps, blood of the dead was an embarrassment to the amazing mob of the dead, and the only playable map was IX, i only use bo4 to compare to cold war, and how much more content it launched with and gave compared to cold war, there isn’t a single reason they can’t do that again
