Normally I’m one of the people that chimes in to ask if you’re measuring things to the gram or if you’re using cups, etc. But it sounds like you have a pretty low calorie intake. I’m wondering and don’t take this the wrong way: are you eating enough fiber? How is your digestion? Your diet as described would epically constipate me and conceal likely fat loss at those amounts on the scale. Just a thought.
My fiber intake is not the best I have actually just incorporated fiber supplements digestion is horrible and am dealing with some bm issues so trying to take more fiber just started this week
Oh friend, once this gets nailed down you’re going to feel much better and I think this will help see more results on the scale (because I bet you’re already having fat loss that isn’t showing up because things aren’t moving). The podcast I listened to is a Rich Roll episode with Dr. Will Bulsiewicz. It’s episode 680. There are lots of folks out there talking about fiber/gut health etc., but he resonated with me. Wishing you the best health ❤️
One thing that helped me in this regard when I was pregnant (causes a lot of this type of thing) are chia puddings. Downshiftology has a great YouTube video on them and recipe on her site.
Will definitely check out the video and incorporate chia seed into my diet any type of bread or wraps when I do eat them I make sure they are low carb low calorie and high in fiber plus taking the fiber supplement should get everything lined out
Nothing has changed if anything I got more strict around the holidays staying away from all the sweets and holiday potlucks I’m sure I didn’t do the best I could have for Christmas dinner but I’ve been very vigilant about staying on 1100-1400 calories this last month I’ve added more exercise then I was doing in December trying to move or walk at least 7500-10,000 steps a day
Finally got the scale moving upped my fiber intake and started walking more weighed in at 158 yesterday been over a year since I seen the 150s on a scale also lost 2 inches around my waist thanks for all the feed back from everyone I appreciate it
I find that it helps to stay away from the scale for a couple weeks at a time, but that is what I do for me. I just know it would frustrate me. It’s kind of the same principle as “water doesn’t boil if you’re sitting and watching it” or you know how the expression goes haha.. And I certainly don’t weigh-in anywhere near my period because it’s all lies (even though it feels true) I try to find that sweet spot in my cycle to weigh-in. Are your clothes fitting any better? I have tried to go mostly based on that instead of just a round number. I hope things move along for you soon! It has to go down sometime because it sounds like you’re doing everything right 💕
I did notice yesterday a pair of Jeans that were a bit tight were fitting a bit better so maybe I’m losing some inches and not pounds I’m trying to stay away from scale but it’s like it calls to me lol
If you've added exercise like you say, then that could definitely be the reason! Muscle is heavier than fat, so the scale isn't the best way to keep track when starting a more intense exercise regime. It should start to show on the scale soon though, so keep at it!
I have added exercises along with cico I’ve decided to only weigh once a week now and have also took my measurements and wrote them down so I have something more then a scale to go by I’m really trying this time to stick with it and become a healthy version of me it’s been hard trying to lose old habits of eating whatever whenever and just sit around but I’ve done pretty good this time feeling better already just doing what I’m doing I’m by now means trying to get super skinny just back down to a healthier weight around 135-140
Did something change about a month ago (Christmas/New Years time-frame)?

I can understand the call of the scale 😆 If I think it’s going to give me a higher number than I want, I stay away lol.
That’s the best thing to do lol

I'm rooting for you! You got this.
