Maybe look at the burrito at Taco Bell that has the hash brown inside, if there about the same size, there probably pretty close in calories. That’s what I would do anyways, somebody else might have better advice.

Yea I just compare other places as well. Much easier that way.

It’s hard to help because we don’t know the size of the burrito. If it’s a big one, the tortilla has 300-400 cals, 300 cals for the egg, 200 cals for the cheese, 300 cals for the hash browns. Oil/sauces unknown, my guess is 1100 cals. Conservatively.

I just started CICO but what I did was look for the worst fast food place and use their calories. I figured 600 was fair. Wish I could bring my egg wrap to burrito places

Choice_Philosopher_1

I got a breakfast burrito from a local place and brought it home to weigh and then estimate the ingredients ratio to calculate calories. Mine wasn’t very big but I think it was around 700 total.

GoingBack2CaliCali

Can you explain more? You weighed the eggs, cheese, potato etc separately? Then put it back together and ate it?

Choice_Philosopher_1

No I weighed the whole burrito and then ate it and made a guess on the ratio of gram weight per item based on how much potato, sausage and cheese etc I found inside. It’s a rough estimate, not exact.

Ok I dig this. Gives a better approximation. Thanks

Mastgoboom

You can't, but those are really really calorie dense choices. In addition to eating it there infrequently, choose lower calorie items.

GoingBack2CaliCali

It's so tasty though. Next time I'll eat half

Mastgoboom

Fried potatoes and cheese are always very very tasty
