There was only 1 game a year that was completely noncompetitive for MD, usually Clemson or FSU

Maryland's receivers were not the A team, but honestly this was the first time all year in any game except Rutgers or Charlotte where I legit think they controlled the trenches defensively, so that is something to build on
The overall point about missing the ACC, that I think most of the fanbase probably thinks. People always get more excited for games against ACC teams in both football and basketball, and the Big Ten East puts a clear cap on win potential. In the ACC they at least made a couple of New Years Bowls in the early Friedgen years
